  • Publication number: 20130029292
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and compositions for tooth regeneration. Both implants of adipose-derived stem cell and dental pulp stem cell are able to grow self-assembled new teeth in extraction sockets when adding BMP2. The regenerated tooth is not only structurally similar to a normal tooth, but also well-developed in vascular and nervous systems with functions of growth, communication, and sensation. They are natural living teeth derived from this invented implantation method without any engineering procedure. It is ready for clinical testing and may be applied to future dental clinics.

  • Publication number: 20130016465
Abstract: An approach is provided in which a pH-indicating compound is incorporated in a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a number of layers with the pH-sensitive indicator being incorporated in one of the layers. Conductive pathways are formed from a conductive sheet laminated onto an outer surface of the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is exposed to a pH-activating solution. Plated-through hole defects in the printed circuit board are identified by detecting a color formation at a surface location of the printed circuit board that corresponds to the plated-through hole defect. Another approach is also provided where a pH-activating compound is incorporated in one of the layers of the printed circuit board which is then exposed to a pH-indicating solution to produce the color formation that identifies the location of the plated-through hole defect.

  • Publication number: 20130014977
Abstract: An approach is provided in detecting plated-through hole defects in printed circuit boards (PCBs). The printed circuit board is exposed to a modified-silane solution. The modified-silane solution has a luminescent moiety and the modified-silane solution binds to exposed glass within a glass fiber layer of the printed circuit board. Plated-through hole defects are identified in the printed circuit board by detecting a luminescence at a surface location of the printed circuit board. Each surface location where the luminescence is detected corresponds to one of the plated-through hole defects.

  • Patent number: 8335757
Abstract: Described is a technology in which sequential data, such as application program command sequences, are processed into patterns, such as for use in analyzing program usage. In one aspect, sequential data may be first transformed via state machines that remove repeated data, group similar data into sub-sequences, and/or remove noisy data. The transformed data is then segmented into units. A pattern extraction mechanism extracts patterns from the units into a pattern set, by calculating a stability score (e.g., a mutual information score) between succeeding units, selecting the pair of units having the most stability (e.g., the highest score), and adding corresponding information for that pair into the pattern set. Pattern extraction is iteratively repeated until a stopping criterion is met, e.g., the pattern set reaches a defined size, or when the stability score is smaller than a pre-set threshold.

  • Patent number: 8336015
Abstract: A method of improving pre-route and post-route correlation can include performing an initial placement, virtual routing, and lower-effort actual routing for the design. The results of the virtual routing and lower-effort actual routing can be compared to identify nets having miscorrelation. Based on the nets having at least a predetermined miscorrelation, one or more patterns can be defined. At this point, net routing constraints and/or scaling factors can be assigned to nets matching the defined patterns. These net routing constraints and scaling factors can be applied to the nets of the design that match the patterns. Optimized placement and a higher-effort actual routing of the design can be performed using the nets with the applied net routing constraints and scaling factors. An optimized, routed design can be generated as output.

  • Publication number: 20120214331
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a high-power connector having a heat dissipation structure, which includes a cover, a plurality of resilient metal terminals and a plurality of auxiliary metal plates. The cover is made of an insulating material and defines a plurality of receiving spaces therein. The resilient metal terminals are fitted in the receiving spaces respectively. The front section of each resilient metal terminal has an arcuate shape, passes through a lateral side of the cover, and is exposed from the cover. The front section of each auxiliary metal plate is electrically connected to the corresponding resilient metal terminal, and the rear section of each auxiliary metal plate is electrically connected to a circuit board. Since the auxiliary metal plates have relatively low impedance capable of rapidly releasing the heat generated by the connector, the components of the connector are prevented from premature aging attributable to high temperature.
