  • Publication number: 20060284672
Abstract: In a control circuit and method for a high efficiency and low EMI switching amplifier, an input signal is compared with a reference signal to generate a comparison signal, and a control signal is generated in response to the comparison signal for a driver to generate an output signal. The output signal is fed back to control the slope of the reference signal in association with an initial level set for the reference signal to provide a minimum on-time period for the output signal. Alternatively, a reference value is provided to compare with the reference signal for setting a minimum on-time period for the output signal.

  • Publication number: 20060284677
Abstract: In a switching amplifier for generating a pair of output signals of square waves in response to an input signal, when the input signal is zero, the first output signal has a first duty cycle and the second output signal has a second duty cycle; when the input signal is greater than zero, the first output signal has a third duty cycle varying with the input signal and the second output signal still has the second duty cycle; and when the input signal is less than zero, the first output signal has the first duty cycle and the second output signal has a fourth duty cycle varying with the input signal. The first and second duty cycles are very small but equal to each other in size, and the phase difference between the first and second output signals could range from 0 to 180 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20060153388
Abstract: An integrated and monolithic package structure of acoustic wave device is provided that includes a first device, a conjunction layer, a second device and a conductive layer. The first device is placed in a way of face up, the second device is placed in a way of face down, and the conjunction layer is placed between the first device and second device so as to form the structure of acoustic wave device. Due to the fact that the conductive layer is formed at least on one side of the device thereof, the thermal effect and electromagnetic feed-through can be reduced. The encapsulation package technology, air cavity package technology, and a package of the multi-layer structure, including a space layer, a chip contact layer, and a circuit board, are provided to protect the acoustic device and the conductive layer at the lateral sides of the acoustic device from the destroying due to the humidity and the mechanical destroying coming from the external environment.

  • Publication number: 20050088985
Abstract: A method for updating data in a non-volatile memory is provided. It is assumed that generally, the data to be written are sequential. After a pen drive receives a packet comprising to-be-updated data, it is determined whether the write-in address of the packet is in the same block with the last updated data to decide whether or not to copy back the un-updated data. Accordingly, unnecessary copy-back operations can be saved and the data updating efficiency can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6397512
Abstract: A fishhook-extracting device mainly includes an elongated shank, a front end of which is a tapered spiral portion being coated with a layer of rubber skin and having a ball-shaped tip, and a rear end of which is connected to a preferably elliptic flat member. The flat member is provided along a lateral side with a notch for a fish line to pass there and be held in place, and at a front side with a U-shaped recess forming a sharp blade for cutting a fish line. When using the device to extract a fishhook from a caught fish, first move the shank for the spiral portion to tangles with the fish line to which the fishhook is connected, then push the shank along the fish line into the fish's mouth to allow the spiral portion to catch the fishhook. Thereafter, the shank is slightly pushed further to back the fishhook a little, so that the fishhook is disengaged from the fish and can therefore be easily extracted without badly hurting the fish.
