  • Publication number: 20010040625
Abstract: This digital camera is available at, for example, a selling store such as convenience store. After taking desired photographs, the user returns the digital camera to the selling store. The returned digital camera is collected at a prescribed distribution center, where the photographed data in the digital camera is transmitted to an image station apparatus through a transmitting apparatus. The image station apparatus stores the photographed images in a hard disk. The user accesses the image station apparatus over the Internet by using a user's personal computer, thereby viewing or downloading the images photographed with the digital camera. Thus, the digital camera that allows everybody to enjoy digital photographs at low cost can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20010005703
Abstract: A final reduction gear unit comprises a small diameter pinion gear 10, a large diameter ring gear 20 which meshes with the small diameter ring gear 10, a housing for accommodating the two gears, first bearings 26a, 26b for rotatably supporting the large diameter ring gear and second bearings 15a, 15b for rotatably supporting the small diameter pinion gear. Moreover, a gutter member 30 is provided within the housing for receiving the part of lubricating oil thrown up and splash supplied toward the second bearings by the rotation of the large diameter ring gear, and a lubricating oil supply path 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b is formed within the housing which links up with the first bearings at one end and with the gutter member at the other end thereof.

  • Patent number: 6076033
Abstract: A process for controlling a yaw moment in a vehicle by generating a braking force in one of the left and right wheels of the vehicle and by generating a driving force in the other wheel. When a vehicle is accelerated during the turning thereof, grounding loads of rear wheels are increased in order to generate a yaw moment in a direction opposite from a turning direction. However, such yaw moment can be eliminated in order to enhance the turning performance by bringing one of the hydraulic clutches into an engaged state with a torque which is proportional to a product of longitudinal and lateral accelerations. Consequently, a braking force and a driving force in inner and outer wheels during turning of the vehicle, respectively, are generated. When the vehicle is decelerated during turning thereof, grounding loads of front wheels are increased to a yaw moment in the same direction as the turning direction.

  • Patent number: 5780661
Abstract: Allyl silane compounds represented by the formula (CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH--CH.sub.2 --)R.sub.n SiCl.sub.3-n (R represents, independently of each other, hydrocarbon groups with a carbon number of C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 ; n represents an integer from 0 to 3) are reacted with AX (AX stands for mercaptans, thiocarboxylic acids, carbon tetrachloride, or chloroform, the letter X represents, respectively, H bonded to sulfur in the case of mercaptans and thiocarboxylic acids, chlorine in the case of carbon tetrachloride, and H in the case of chloroform, and the letter A represents a residual group bonded to X) in the presence of radical generating agents, thereby obtaining allylsilane compounds represented by the formula (ACH.sub.2 CHXCH.sub.2)R.sub.n SiCl.sub.3-n (R, n, A and X have the same meaning as above).
