  • Publication number: 20010019550
Abstract: In the CDMA Radio Multiplex Transmission, transfer function of line is inferred by using common pilot signal and synchronous detection is performed accordingly. The transmitting end transmits by periodically insering pilot symbols into one channel only of multiplexed channels. The receiving end infers line condition (transfer function) from the received pilot symbols and, on the basis of the information thus obtained, performs synchronous detection of each channel multiplexed.

  • Patent number: 6264209
Abstract: The invention provides a guide bush wherein a cemented carbide alloy containing at least cobalt is provided on an inner surface thereof for holding a workpiece rotatably and slidably in the longitudinal axial direction thereof in close proximity of a cutting tool, and a DLC film is formed over the cemented carbide alloy, cobalt being removed from the surface of the cemented carbide alloy, adjoining the DLC film. By forming the DLC film 15 on the surface of the cemented carbide alloy 12 from which cobalt has been removed, with an intermediate layer formed therebetween, adhesiveness of the DLC film against the cemented carbide alloy fixedly attached to the inner surface of the guide bush is further enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6242797
Abstract: A semiconductor device having a pellet mounted on a radiating plate thereof is disclosed. The radiating plate is formed in such a shape that a central portion thereof is positioned higher than both end portions thereof. A pellet is mounted on a lower face of the central portion of the radiating plate, and an upper face of the central portion of the radiating plate is exposed to the top of a resin member. Since the upper face of the central portion of the radiating plate which has the pellet mounted on the lower face thereof is exposed from the resin member, heat generated by the pellet can be radiated efficiently.

  • Patent number: 6229967
Abstract: The present invention provides a recording apparatus capable of detecting whether a transfer unit is an unused unit or not, including a cover that covers a transfer medium over which a plurality of color images is superimposed to form a color image and has an opening that exposes part of the transfer medium, pasting one end of a seal for detecting whether the transfer unit is an unused unit or not near the opening of the cover in the direction in which the transfer medium moves, pasting the other end of the unused unit detecting seal to the transfer medium through the opening. This allows one end of the unused unit detecting seal to be pasted to the transfer medium through the opening and the other end of the seal to be pasted to the cover near the opening in the direction in which the transfer medium moves. With the unused unit detecting seal pasted in this way, it is possible to detect whether this transfer unit is an unused unit or not.

  • Patent number: 6191736
Abstract: Received signal provided via plural antennas 101 are memorized in memory 102. First weight controller 103 calculates the first weights by which the received signals are weighted, and second weight controller 104 calculates the second weights using the received signals. Multipliers 107 and 108 multiply the memorized received signals by the first weights, while multiply the memorized received signals by the second weights when a channel quality of radio signals deteriorates due to a change of the radio signal's direction of arrival Adder 109 synthesizes the multiplication results. Propagation path distortion compensator 110 estimates a deterioration of the channel quality using synthesis result to compensate.

  • Patent number: 6178615
Abstract: A long length product is conveyed along a conveyor by a propulsion mechanism into contact therewith. The product is gripped by a first conveyor line vise and cut at its tailing end side to a specified dimension. The product is advanced by the propulsion mechanism against the conveying force of the conveyor and then gripped by the first conveyor line vise and machined. A series of these operations are iterated. Finally, the product is advanced to a second conveyor line, where it is gripped by a second conveyor line vise and subjected to final machining with the propulsion mechanism retracted. Instead of using a process of cutting to cut the leading end side of the product to a specified dimension, the leading end side of the product may be put into contact with the stopper and fed by referencing the leading end of the product.
