Patent number: 5933112Abstract: First and second phase control amount tables output to first and second vector multiply circuits phase control signals Sc1 and Sc2 representative of corresponding phase shift amounts with gains represented by input gain control signals Sg1 and Sg2 as arguments. The first and second vector multiply circuits shift the phases of in-phase components S13 and S23 and quadrature components S14 and S24 of an antenna 2 in opposite directions in accordance with the phase control signals Sc1 and Sc2. Consequently, the amount of phase shift caused by receiving amplifiers is corrected so that the phase difference at antenna terminals between the input signals to the antennas is maintained.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1998Date of Patent: August 3, 1999Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Katsuhiko Hiramatsu, Kazuyuki Miya

Patent number: 5927303Abstract: In a substrate processing apparatus wherein a substrate is held horizontally and rotated about a center axis which extends in a vertical direction to thereby supply processing liquid to the substrate, vortical grooves which are twisted in a direction of rotation of the substrate are formed in a cover surface which is a bottom surface of a cover plate which covers a top surface of the substrate across a gap. Although the processing liquid which is supplied to the substrate is scattered at the substrate and adhere as drops to the cover surface, subjected to force of an air stream which is created as a substrate rotates, the drops move along the grooves on the cover surface. This permits the drops on the cover surface to be smoothly discharged outside the cover surface without allowing the drops to fall off onto the substrate, which in turn improves the quality of the substrate.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1997Date of Patent: July 27, 1999Assignee: Dainippon Screen Mfg. Patent number: 5818869Abstract: A synchronizing method and circuit accurately and stably operates a direct spread spectrum multiple access communication system. A signal transmitted by modulating the spreading code with data at the transmission side is sampled by a signal of n times (n: 1 or larger integer) the clock speed of the spread spectrum signal at the reception side, and the correlation is detected by a digital matched filter. Consequently, the detection output in every sample in the symbol period is compared with the envelope detection output determined in every sampling period, and the sample positions for a specific number of determined samples are stored in the descending order of the output. The number of times of storage of large sample positions in the stored detection output is counted in every symbol period, and the position of the largest number of storage times is detected as the peak position. From this peak position, capturing or holding the symbol period, and setting of the reception window position results.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 1997Date of Patent: October 6, 1998Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuyuki Miya, Roland Go, Hiroyuki Kanaya
