  • Patent number: 9342317
Abstract: According to a present invention embodiment, a system imports information from a source profile into a target profile. The system maps one or more entities within the source profile to one or more entities of the target profile pertaining to configuring a system including a plurality of system components. Properties of the one or more entities within the source profile are compared to properties of corresponding mapped entities in the target profile. The values of the properties of the one or more entities within the target profile are set to the property values of the corresponding one or more mapped entities within the source profile in response to the comparison indicating the properties correspond. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for importing information from a source profile into a target profile in substantially the same manner described above.

  • Patent number: 9343790
Abstract: This invention provides novel combline resonators with multiple conductors and multiple dielectrics for compact filters and multiplexers with improved electric response. The novel combline resonator consists of multi-conductors being made up for the simplest case of an inner metallic post, an intermediate conductor, and an enclosure. This structure provides two resonant modes that can be used for realizing compact microwave filters and multiplexers. Such filters offer the low cost, compact size and ease of manufacturing features of traditional combline resonator filters, with additional size reduction due to the fact that a single physical cavity provides two electrical resonators. In addition, the new cavity inherently introduces a transmission zero in the guard-bands enhancing the filter selectivity.

  • Publication number: 20160050246
Abstract: A quality-aware rate adaptation algorithm is described to optimize the quality of experience (QoE) for a DASH client. Requesting media at a bitrate higher than the available network bandwidth can lead to re-buffering events that disrupt user experience, while requesting media at lower bitrates may lead to sub-optimum streaming quality. The quality-aware algorithm tries to optimize the QoE of a DASH client by maintaining a better trade-off between buffer levels and quality fluctuations.
