    Abstract: Methods and devices for enabling improved cell reselection procedures on a wireless communication device with a first SIM is camped on a serving cell of a first network may include receiving a list of neighbor cells from system information that is broadcast in the serving cell, and performing signal measurements associated with the listed neighbor cells and the serving cell, and, based on the signal measurements, identifying neighbor cells that satisfy selection criteria. The wireless device may calculate ranking criteria for the serving cell and the identified neighbor cells, and determine whether an inter-frequency neighbor cell has a highest ranking criteria among all of the ranked cells. Upon determining that an intra-frequency neighbor cell has the highest ranking criteria, the wireless device may start a reselection timer and also start decoding the system information that is being broadcast in the intra-frequency neighbor cell that has the highest ranking criteria.

    Abstract: The present invention relates generally to high current density access devices (ADs), and more particularly, to a structure and method of forming tunable voltage margin access diodes in phase change memory (PCM) blocks using layers of copper-containing mixed ionic-electronic conduction (MIEC) materials. Embodiments of the present invention may use layers MIEC material to form an access device that can supply high current-densities and operate reliably while being fabricated at temperatures that are compatible with standard BEOL processing. By varying the deposition technique and amount of MIEC material used, the voltage margin (i.e. the voltage at which the device turns on and the current is above the noise floor) of the access device may be tuned to specific operating conditions of different memory devices.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for provisioning wireless devices for operation in one or more networks. In one embodiment, a provisioning service may provide access client (e.g., Subscriber Identity Module) data to a secure element in the wireless user device. The device may be preloaded with a provisioning SIM profile. The device may use the provisioning profile to roam onto a carrier, and communicate with a provisioning service, which may present the user with a list of available wireless carriers, such as carriers that service the user's current geographic location. In response to a user selection, the provisioning service may load a SIM profile associated with the selected carrier onto the secure element. The loaded SIM profile can be used to obtain wireless service from the selected carrier. The user may add multiple SIM profiles, and/or may delete SIM profiles.
