    Abstract: A circuit is provided. The circuit includes a sampling circuit connectable to a multibit memory array and that samples a voltage across a sampling capacitor, a capacitance network including a plurality of capacitors and switching elements such that the capacitance network has a capacitance that depends on the configuration of the switching elements, and a buffering circuit configured to charge the capacitance of the capacitance network based on the voltage across the sampling capacitor. The circuit is configured to operate the capacitance network in a first state and a second state, wherein the capacitance in the states depends on an input value to the circuit. The circuit is also configured to charge the capacitance network in the first state and to allow the charge to redistribute within the capacitance network when it changes from the first to the second state. A system and method including such circuits are also provided.

A conductive layer is deposited on the second side thereof. The second flexible triboelectric member includes a second triboelectric layer and a material being on a second position on the triboelectric series that is different from the first position on the triboelectric series. The second triboelectric member is adjacent to the first flexible triboelectric member. When the first triboelectric member comes into and out of contact with the second triboelectric member as a result of the vibrations, a triboelectric potential difference having a variable intensity corresponding to the vibrations can be sensed between the first and second triboelectric members.

    Abstract: An extended reality headset has light-based communication transceivers coupled to the extended reality headset. The relative position of a remote transceiver with respect to the current position and orientation of the extended reality headset is determined. A line-of-sight is calculated from the light-based communication transceivers to the remote transceiver. The light-based communication transceivers emit a light-based communications beam in accordance with the calculated line-of-sight. The light-based communications beam is adjusted in response to changes to the relative position of the remote transceiver with respect to the current position and orientation of the extended reality headset.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for characterizing electrical components for evaluating performance in a high voltage transient protection circuit. Impedance graphs provided by manufacturers for electrical components are typically low voltage measurements that do not necessarily accurately reflect component performance at high voltages above 150 volts. It is important to characterize and understand the behavior of these components at high voltages in order to ensure the components will protect circuitry as expected. In certain embodiments, a characterization method includes obtaining time domain voltage measurements from two terminals of a device under test (DUT) as it is exposed to high voltage transients from an electrical fast transient (EFT) generator. The time domain voltage data is transformed into frequency domain voltage data using a transform algorithm, and additional analysis is performed to derive scattering parameters, impedance, and other valuable metrics for component characterization.

The site controller collects and analyzes yaw control data of a plurality of wind turbines and wind direction data relating to the plurality of wind turbines. The site server determines collective wind direction across an area occupied by the plurality of wind turbines and sends yaw control signals including desired nacelle yaw position instructions to the plurality of wind turbines. The site controller performs wake modeling analysis and determines desired nacelle positions of one or more of the plurality of wind turbines. The desired nacelle yaw position instructions systematically correct static yaw misalignment for all of the plurality of wind turbines. Embodiments of the disclosure provide means to perform whole site or partial site level controls of the yaw controllers of a utility scale wind turbine farm.

    Abstract: A physical layer transceiver for a node in a wireline communication system includes receiver circuitry for receiving communications from a link partner on a first link path, transmitter circuitry for transmitting communications to the link partner on a second link path, and an energy-efficient Ethernet (EEE) controller for reducing power consumption on the first or second link path, when activity on that link path is reduced. In a low-power mode, there are periodic refresh intervals of a first duration, during which signals are received or transmitted, and, between the refresh intervals, quiet intervals of a second, longer, duration, during which transmission and reception of signals are avoided. The EEE controller detects a change in an environmental condition affecting that link path, and upon detection of that change, adjusts a parameter of the low-power mode on at least one of the first and second link paths.
