  • Publication number: 20230093657
Abstract: Integrated circuit structures having a dielectric gate wall and a dielectric gate plug, and methods of fabricating integrated circuit structures having a dielectric gate wall and a dielectric gate plug, are described. For example, an integrated circuit structure includes a sub-fin having a portion protruding above a shallow trench isolation (STI) structure. A plurality of horizontally stacked nanowires is over the sub-fin. A gate dielectric material layer is over the protruding portion of the sub-fin, over the STI structure, and surrounding the horizontally stacked nanowires. A conductive gate layer is over the gate dielectric material layer. A conductive gate fill material is over the conductive gate layer. A dielectric gate wall is laterally spaced apart from the sub-fin and the plurality of horizontally stacked nanowires, the dielectric gate wall on the STI structure. A dielectric gate plug is on the dielectric gate wall.

  • Patent number: 11611426
Abstract: A multi-lane transmitting apparatus includes lanes, and each lane includes a serializer circuit to convert parallel bits to serial bits. A clock signal generator generates a first clock signal having phases. A deserializer circuit converts serial bits to parallel bits. A Built-In Self-Test (BIST) circuit includes a signal generator circuit for generating a signal having bits in a defined pattern. A comparator circuit compares a pattern of bits of an output signal with the defined pattern. A BIST lane circuit monitors a status of the lanes. A BIST central circuit receives the status and determines if a number of lanes having an unmatched status is less than a threshold value. A phase extrapolator circuit adjusts a phase of the first clock signal when the number of the lanes is less than the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20230079586
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein to form semiconductor devices having thinned semiconductor regions (e.g., thinner nanoribbons) compared to other semiconductor devices on the same substrate and at a comparable height (e.g., within same layer or adjacent layers). In an example, neighboring semiconductor devices of a given memory cell include a p-channel device and an n-channel device. The p-channel device may be a GAA transistor with a semiconductor nanoribbon having a first width while the n-channel device may be a GAA transistor with a semiconductor nanoribbon having a second width that is larger than the first width (e.g., first width is half the second width). The p-channel device may have a thinner width than the corresponding n-channel device in order to structurally lower the operating current through the p-channel devices by decreasing the width of the active semiconductor channel.

  • Publication number: 20230079388
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking inventory items in an area of real space are disclosed. The method includes receiving a signal generated in dependence on sensors. The signal indicates a change to a portion of an image of an area of real space. The method includes, in response to receiving the signal, implementing a trained location detection model to determine, based on inputs, whether an inventory item identified in the portion of the image has changed a position in the area of real space. The method includes implementing a trained item classification model to determine a classification of the inventory item. The method includes updating an inventory database with inventory item data determined in dependence on the classification of the inventory item to provide an updated map of the area of real space as a result of the received signal indicating the change to the portion of the image.

  • Publication number: 20230084909
Abstract: A first network device may receive first traffic of a session that involves a service. The first network device may identify that the service is configured for distributed node processing. The first network device may identify a second network device that is configured for distributed node processing. The first network device may identify a state machine that is associated with the service. The first network device may determine, based on the state machine, a first function and a second function, wherein the first function is identified by a first label and the second function is identified by a second label. The first network device may process the first traffic based on the first function. The first network device may provide, to the second network device, the first traffic and the second label to permit the second network device to process second traffic in association with the second function.

  • Publication number: 20230084182
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein to form semiconductor devices having a different number of semiconductor nanoribbons compared to other semiconductor devices on the same substrate. In one example, two different semiconductor devices of a given memory cell, such as a random access memory (RAM) cell, include a p-channel device and an n-channel device. More specifically, the p-channel device may be a GAA transistor with a first number of semiconductor nanoribbons while the n-channel device may be a GAA transistor with a second number of semiconductor nanoribbons that is greater than the first number of semiconductor nanoribbons. In some cases, the n-channel device(s) have one additional semiconductor nanoribbon compared to the p-channel device(s). Depending on when the nanoribbons are removed during the fabrication process, different structural outcomes will occur that can be detected in the final device.

  • Patent number: 11606309
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method includes accessing information related to a playback session in which at least a portion of requested multimedia content is streamed over a network to a client electronic device. The method further includes accessing network topology information for the network to identify which route through the network was used to provide the requested multimedia content during the playback session, including indicating which end node was used to provide the multimedia content. Still further, the method includes accessing network steering factors that indicate why the requested multimedia content was steered through the identified network route, determining, based on the network steering factors, which end node would have been more suited to providing the requested multimedia content for the playback session, and then transferring the requested multimedia content to the determined end node for provisioning during subsequent playback sessions.
