  • Publication number: 20200073679
Abstract: Methods and visual analysis (VA) engines for dynamically modifying layout of user-selectable elements of a graphical user interface (GUI) of an application. An VA engine of a hardware computer determines a usage pattern of a plurality of user-selectable elements of a GUI of an application. The VA engine determines a number of user-selectable elements relative to a total number of the plurality of user-selectable elements that are selected more frequently than other user-selectable elements based on the usage patterns. The VA engine selects a visual aesthetic pattern from among a set of visual aesthetic patterns based on the number of user-selectable elements. The VA engine dynamically modifies layout, during runtime of the application, of the user-selectable elements of the GUI based on the visual aesthetic pattern that was selected. The VA engine displays the graphical user interface with the modified layout of the user-selectable elements of the graphical user interface.

  • Patent number: 10198340
Abstract: Various techniques associated with application performance monitoring are disclosed. In some embodiments, a subset of application methods is configured to capture response time metrics, and response time metrics for a prescribed application transaction are computed by summing corresponding response time metrics of methods of the subset that are executed during each transaction invocation. Method and transaction response time metrics are collected for each of a plurality of observation intervals, and the collected response time metrics are analyzed to identify anomalous method and transaction states. Co-occurring anomalous transaction and method states are correlated to identify a set of hotspot methods for the transaction, wherein hotspot methods comprise expected root causes for anomalies of the transaction.

  • Patent number: 10067065
Abstract: A cover glass of an electronic device may be inspected for defects and damage such as cracks, fractures, scratches, and chips. The electronic device may be placed in an enclosure with a lighting assembly that emits light to the electronic device, and scattered light from defects and damage of the cover glass is captured by an imaging device. A shutter assembly facilitates the capture of scattered light and reduces the capture of reflected light, which enhances the exposure of defects and damage of the captured image of the cover glass. A mirror facilitates the capture of a side surface of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 9832759
Abstract: A dynamic spectrum arbitrage (DSA) system includes a home subscriber server (HSS), a mobility management entity (MME), an eNodeB, a dynamic spectrum controller (DSC), and a dynamic spectrum policy controller (DPC). The DSC may receive resource allocation information from the DPC, and send updated information and instructions to the HSS. The HSS may be configured to receive information from the DSC, detect changes to HSS subscription information (e.g., user profile information), determine whether the changes affect the information managed/stored by an MME component, and send the detected changes to the MME component when the HSS determines that the changes affect the information managed/stored by the MME. The MME component may use the information included in the received messages to add, remove, or modify the MME's stored subscription information or user profile information. The MME component may then communicate these updates, additions, or changes to the HSS component.
