  • Patent number: 6769547
Abstract: The present invention is a multi-layer air cushion packing material whose buffer is made of more than two layers formed into one entire layer. The main pad is installed with several raised buffering pieces. The bottom pad is piled up inside the inner pad with several raised arcs on the back board. Between the main pad and the bottom pad is the inner pad with several raised arcs on the back board and the radian of each raised arc is less than that of the buffering pieces on the main pad. With the closely piling between the buffering pieces and the raised arcs and the assistance of the air chamber, the packing material made of two or more pairs of the buffers provides buffering function through the airtight air chamber formed by the piled layers, which in turn achieves better shockproof effect and protects the product.

  • Publication number: 20040132592
Abstract: A spring bar includes a spring and two tubes are respectively connected to two ends of the spring. Each of the tubes has a slot and a plurality of positioning recesses are defined in two insides defining the slot. Two mounting collars are respectively mounted to the two extensions on the two handles and a through hole is defined through each of the mounting collars. Two positioning members each have a spring member which is biased in the mounting collar corresponding thereto and movably extend through the positioning hole and insert in the slot. An annular groove is defined in each of the positioning members so that the handles can be pulled outward after the positioning members are pushed.

  • Patent number: 6752747
Abstract: A multi-directional swivel body builder constitutes a bent shank, two sections of joint tube having a ring groove and a lock hole at its far end. The joint tube houses a retaining spring having a turnover leaf and a lock post fitted into the lock hole of the joint tube. The joint tube is inserted into the sleeve tube of the handle. The sleeve tube provides a plurality of adjusting holes. When the joint tube slides in place in the sleeve tube, the catch lug on the inner wall of the sleeve tube will enter the ring groove of the joint tube and press the retaining spring so to allow the handle to move freely along the ring groove for proper angular adjustment. The far end of the handle links with an end wheel. When waving the end wheels with two hands, the bent shank will rotate in cycle.

  • Patent number: 6659922
Abstract: A resistance adjustment mechanism for an easy pull exerciser mainly comprises an outer shell, adjustment device, winding wheel and gear axis. The outer shell is composed of the first and second shells. The first shell has an adjustment device containing a rotating knob, a retainer and a one-way clutch bearing. The retainer is clamped and attached to the first shell with outside for the rotating knob's thread stud to pass through. Normally, the teeth on gear axis match the inner ring gear of the second shell. A flexible arrangement for gear axis makes the gear axis rotate under inward pressure, so the degree of tightness for the spiral spring can be adjusted to control the resilient force for the pull string. Therefore, when back to the normal state, the gear axis is positioned to the inner ring gear. The mechanism provides easy adjustment and secured position for the gear axis.

  • Publication number: 20030203796
Abstract: The invention is an adjustable weight-bearing mechanism, especially the stepless adjustable weight-bearing mechanism designed for fitness exercise equipment that can be adjusted in accordance with one's weight bearing without the differentiation in weight, comprising a trough-shaped case equipped with a friction wheel, a spool, a one-way clutch, a return spring coil, a pressure plate and a pressure button. A pulling rope is coiled on the spool for the pulling of the fitness equipment with the one way clutch to control the friction wheel to rotate with the pulled pulling rope, while remains still in the reversal direction. Then the pressure plate allows it and the pressure button to adjust the friction caused by the revolving friction wheel to form the bearing weight during the pulling of the pulling rope, yet the weight can be adjusted with the pressure button to fit in with the user's exercising demand.

  • Publication number: 20030134716
Abstract: A hand operable exercising machine includes a handle, an inertial rotation body rotatably mounted on the handle, and an electronic counter secured on the handle. The handle includes a pivot rod, two detachable connecting seats secured on the two ends of the pivot rod, and two handgrips pivotally mounted on the two detachable connecting seats respectively. Thus, the user's hands may hold the two handgrips to rock and rotate the inertial rotation body, so that the inertial rotation body may be rotated by the inertial action of the inertial weight, thereby exercising the muscles of the user's hands.

  • Publication number: 20030134727
Abstract: A cyclonic rotor is a arm muscle trainer, comprising a semicircular shield and a rolling ball, where the round shield is composed of an outer shield and inner shield. These two shields are superposed and expanded conically downward with a larger space at the bottom to contain a rolling ball. In the interior of the semicircular shields, there are two lock ears to be inserted into the T-type channel on the handle. The lock ears and the handle are fastened firmly together by two outer screws which come from the exterior of the semicircular shields. While holding the handle, waving the rotor, the ball rolls within the hollow space. If waving slowly, the ball rolls slowly; if waving fiercely, the ball rolls fast and violently and continues self-rolling with centrifugal and inertia force and effects vigorous training on arm muscle.

  • Publication number: 20030103352
Abstract: A hand-waving illuminant circlet employed as a sports appliance, mainly comprising a cylindrical collar, a rotary hub and at least a loaded illuminant element. The cylindrical collar fastens a handle at its inner rim and holds a ring gear at its outer perimeter. The rotary hub comprises a pair of symmetric disks for eccentric rotation. The inner perimeter of the disks forms a clamp rail for the ring gear to rotate along. The loaded illuminant element comprises two illuminant wheels and a spur gear going between. The spur gear meshes on the ring gear. When the player waves the circlet, the eccentric rotation generated in the rotary hub produces a centrifugal force causing the illuminant element to circumnavigate along the ring gear; besides, the illuminant element produces a fantastic glare providing great fun in practice.

  • Publication number: 20030092546
Abstract: A powerful waist twister comprises mainly a handle bar, a post column and a twisting mechanism. The twisting mechanism is housed in a base casing with a top lid, in which two rotors, two spring elements, two rotor covers, a connecting rod, and a swing shaft are installed in the manner that each of two rotor seats, mounted along the sidewall of the base casing, receives one of two rotors which are further riveted on the base casing. The connecting rod links to both rotors with the central part pivoted to the swing shaft. The terminal end of the swing shaft is hooked with two spring elements which exert the reversible force to return the swing shaft back during the swing movement. The rotor seats produce a movement in the exactly opposite direction toward the movement of the handle bar, that means while the upper body moves in the right direction, the lower body will twist in the reverse direction to render the waist twisting and swinging movement.
