  • Patent number: 10628762
Abstract: Improving the operations of a data center that is located within a power grid and that includes its own power sources. Past operational characteristics of the power grid are analyzed to derive learned characteristics for the power grid. Current and/or future operational characteristics of the power grid are also monitored. A prediction regarding an upcoming, anticipated load for the power grid is then generated using the learned characteristics and the monitored characteristics. In response to this prediction, one or more mitigation operations are selected and then performed at the data center to ensure that the data center is adequately available. Some of these mitigation operations include, but are not limited to, causing the data center to consume more power, causing the data center's power sources to store more power, or causing the data center to migrate services and/or data to a different data center.

  • Publication number: 20200034571
Abstract: System and method for placing cryptographically secure data in a network comprising a public ledger, including associating a transaction inserting data in said network with a cryptographically secure transaction. The invention is an oracle schema that implements a mineable proof of work (POW) competition to eliminate reliance on trusted third parties for access to off chain data. Users engage in a POW competition to find a nonce which satisfies the requirement of the challenge. The users who find a nonce which correctly solves the POW puzzle input data for the POW Oracle contract and receive native tokens in exchange for their work.

  • Patent number: 10523075
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically routing a wire lead of a stator from a first position to a second position includes a base assembly to receive the stator. A clamp assembly is mounted on the base assembly to hold the wire lead in the first position. An arbor rotates the wire lead. The arbor has a holder to hold the wire lead. An end effector grips and moves the wire lead. A controller moves the end effector to grip the wire lead at the first position and to couple the wire lead with the arbor. Further, the controller rotates the arbor to rotate the wire lead along the circumference of the stator by a pre-determined angle. The controller moves the end effector to grip the wire lead held by the holder, and to move the wire lead to the second position.
