  • Patent number: 10834901
Abstract: A restraint system for an animal, comprising a stake member, a link member, and a restraint member. A first end of the restraint member is operatively connected to the link member. A second end of the restraint member is configured to be operatively connected to the animal. The stake member is arranged such that a neck portion is within the link passageway, a base portion is on a first side of the link member, and a grip portion is on a second side of the link member. The restraint system is used in a leash mode by gripping the grip portion of the stake member with the second end of the restraint member connected to the animal and in a tether mode with the base portion in secured relative to an object and the second end of the restraint member connected to the animal.

  • Patent number: 10795717
Abstract: Embodiments relate to hypervisors that provide hardware isolated virtualization environments (HIVEs) such as containers and virtual machines (VMs). A first HIVE includes a first virtual network interface card (NIC) and a second HIVE includes a second virtual NIC. Both virtual NICs are backed by the same physical NIC. The physical NIC has an Internet Protocol (IP) address. The virtual NICs are assigned the same IP address as the physical NIC. A networking stack of the hypervisor receives inbound packets addressed to the IP address. The networking stack steers the inbound packets to the virtual NICs according to tuples of the inbound packets. Packets emitted by the virtual NICs comprise the IP address, pass through the network stack, and are transmitted by the physical NIC with headers comprising the IP address.

  • Patent number: 10752795
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material from a transfer component onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some embodiments, the method may utilize a printer such as an inkjet printer. In some cases, the transfer material may be a UV curable ink and/or adhesive. When the transfer material is UV curable, the transfer component may be permeable to UV radiation to allow curing of the ink and/or adhesive therethrough. UV curable adhesives including thiol-acrylate and thiol-ene acrylate inkjet-able adhesives are disclosed. The UV curable adhesive may be colored (such as with white pigment) in lieu of providing a base (white) ink layer so that more UV radiation will be able to pass through the ink layer(s) in order to reach the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 10662384
Abstract: The present invention is generally related to the analysis of chemical compositions of hydrocarbons and hydrocarbon blends. This method applies specifically to the problem of analyzing extremely complex hydrocarbon-containing mixtures when the number and diversity of molecules makes it impossible to realistically identify and quantify them individually in a reasonable timeframe and cost. The advantage to this method over prior art is the ability to separate and identify chemical constituents and solvent fractions based on their solvent-solubility characteristics, their high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) adsorption and desorption behaviors, and their interactions with stationary phases; and subsequently identify and quantify them at least partially using various combinations of non-destructive HPLC, destructive HPLC, and stand-alone detectors presently not routinely used for HPLC but reconfigured to obtain spectra on the fly.
