  • Patent number: 11263140
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for performing cache aware searching. In response to a search query, a first bucket and a second bucket in remote storage for processing the search query. A determination is made that a first file in the first bucket is present in a cache when the search query is received. In response to the search query, a search is performed using the first file based on the determination that the first file is present in the cache when the search query is received, and the search is performed using a second file from the second bucket once the second file is stored in the cache.

  • Publication number: 20210387839
Abstract: The industry-standard corkscrew has numerous flaws resulting in broken corks—even in the hands of a professional. The present invention is a radical departure from the traditional corkscrew apparatus. The opener generally consists of the handle and an internally threaded half-pipe. The half-pipe slides between the cork and the bottle, wherein the series of threads engage the cork. Rotating the handle causes the threads to bore deeper into the neck of the bottle until the handles meets the lip of the bottle, and then lift the cork out of the bottle until it disengages and falls away from the opener. It should be appreciated that the elegance of the opener resides in its simplicity.

  • Publication number: 20210357470
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for processing and executing queries in a data intake and query system. The data intake and query system receives a query identifying a set of data to be processed and a manner of processing the set of data. The data intake and query system parses the query and uses a metadata catalog to dynamically identify configuration parameters of datasets and/or rules associated with the query. The identified configuration parameters are communicated to a query processing component of the data intake and query system for use in executing the query.

  • Patent number: 11170175
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for generating a replacement sentence with the same or similar meaning but a different sentiment than an input sentence. The method generally includes receiving a request for a replacement sentence and iteratively determining a next word of the replacement sentence word-by-word based on an input sentence. Iteratively determining the next word generally includes evaluating a set of words of the input sentence using a language model configured to output candidate sentences and evaluating the candidate sentences using a sentiment model configured to output sentiment scores for the candidates sentences. Iteratively determining the next word further includes calculating convex combinations for the candidate sentences and selecting an ending word of one of the candidate sentences as the next word of the replacement sentence. The method further includes transmitting the replacement sentence in response to the request for the replacement sentence.

  • Patent number: 11132476
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed for automatically generating aircraft models by modifying quantitative design variables based on joint analysis of aerodynamic, structural, and/or energy performance. For example, in one or more embodiments, disclosed systems iteratively modify ailerons and a propulsion system based on performance criteria until a balancing metric converges. The disclosed systems then determine performance metrics corresponding to the aircraft model with the modified ailerons and propulsion system, such as stresses and deflections under performance load, a measure of aeroelastic stability, and a battery performance metric. The disclosed systems can then modify design variables based on the determined performance metrics to explore the design space and generate a new aircraft model.

  • Patent number: 11126758
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed for automatically generating an improved aircraft wing by modifying quantitative design variables of one or more airfoils based on joint analysis of aerodynamic and structural performance. In particular, the disclosed systems determine cross-sectional aerodynamic and structural performance metrics for identified airfoils. Based on cross-sectional metrics, the disclosed systems iteratively determine wing aerodynamic performance and deformation metrics across a span of the wing until arriving at an equilibrium deformation and corresponding aerodynamic metric. The disclosed systems can repeatedly analyze the aero-structural metrics for different quantitative design variables to explore a design space and generate an improved wing design while improving aerodynamic and structural performance.
