  • Publication number: 20190164354
Abstract: A position/posture acquiring unit of image generating apparatus acquires information on the position and posture of the head of a user. A view screen control unit sets a view screen according to the point of view of a user. An original image operating unit disposes an original image in a virtual space and moves the position thereof in response to movement of the point of view of the user. In addition, the original image operating unit calculates the amount of displacement of pixels in such a manner that an object looks fixed. Thereby, the original image operating unit sets a reference vector for each pixel of the image plane. The original image operating unit decides the reference vector by interpolation regarding a pixel for which the reference vector is not set. A displayed image generating unit carries out mapping of the original image onto the view screen by using the obtained reference vectors to generate a displayed image. An output unit outputs the displayed image.

  • Publication number: 20190158809
Abstract: A position and posture acquisition unit of an image generation apparatus acquires position information relating to a view point of a user. A viewscreen setting unit sets a viewscreen. An original image operation unit calculates a correction amount for a pixel from a parallax value of each pixel of an original image and an amount of movement of the view point such that an object looks fixed, and generates, for each of left and right view points, an image reference vector map in which an image reference vector that refers to the position before correction from coordinates of each pixel after correction is stored for each pixel. Along with this, depending upon the view point, the reference destination is set to an original image from a different view point. A display image generation unit refers to an original image on the basis of the image reference vector corresponding to each pixel of the viewscreen to determine a color value. An outputting unit outputs a display image.

  • Publication number: 20170230644
Abstract: A marker detection block 20 scans a taken image of a plurality of markers of a fixture worn on the head of a user so as to detect a two-dimensional coordinate on the taken image of the plurality of markers. A viewpoint position correction block 30 corrects a viewpoint position of the user without use of a coordinate in a Z direction of the markers but by use of the detected two-dimensional coordinate of the plurality of markers. A stereoscopic image generation block 40 generates a parallax image obtained when a three-dimensional object is viewed from the corrected viewpoint position.

  • Patent number: 9253480
Abstract: A viewpoint detection unit detects a user viewing a stereoscopic image, including a parallax image of a subject as viewed from a predetermined position defined as a reference view position, and tracks a viewpoint of the detected user. A motion parallax correction unit determines, if a speed of movement of the viewpoint becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined level, an amount of motion parallax correction for the parallax image, on the basis of an amount of movement of the viewpoint, so as to generate a stereoscopic image corrected for motion parallax, generates, if the speed of movement of the viewpoint subsequently becomes lower than a predetermined level, a stereoscopic image by changing the amount of motion parallax correction in steps until the parallax image return to parallax images as seen from the reference view position.

  • Patent number: 8957173
Abstract: Disclosed is a respiration-assisting tube whereby tissue damages in vivo can be prevented and, as a result, inflammatory reactions and infections can be avoided. The respiration-assisting tube is developed based on the finding that adhesion of cells to a respiration-assisting tube can be inhibited by coating the respiration-assisting tube with a polymer containing 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC). Also, the respiration-assisting tube is developed based on the finding that, by coating a respiration-assisting tube with a polymer containing MPC, mucosa peeling and tissue damages, which occur after using the respiration-assisting tube, can be prevented and, as a result, inflammatory reactions can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 8906111
Abstract: Disclosed is an artificial bone material having controlled calcium ion elution, which does not induce cytotoxicity or any inflammatory response. It is found that the elution of a calcium ion from an artificial bone material for transplantation which contains a calcium-containing substance can be prevented effectively by subjecting the carrier to a surface treatment or adding a surface-treating agent to the carrier. It is also found that the induction of cytotoxicity can be prevented and the induction of an inflammatory response can also be prevented by using the above-mentioned carrier having controlled calcium ion elution.

  • Publication number: 20140336144
Abstract: Disclosed is an external preparation containing nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which is suppressed in cytotoxicity induced by the NSAIDs. Also disclosed is a method for producing the external preparation. The present invention is based on the finding that skin disorders induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can be suppressed when the NSAIDs form intermolecular compounds together with trehalose, which is an example of disaccharides. A disaccharide other than trehalose may be used therefor.

  • Patent number: 8559798
Abstract: A rendering process for rendering an image frame and a postprocess for adapting the image frame to a display are separated. A rendering processing unit 42 generates an image frame sequence by performing rendering at a predetermined frame rate regardless of a condition that the image frame should meet for output to the display. A postprocessing unit 50 subjects the image frame sequence generated by the rendering processing unit to a merge process so as to generate and output an updated image frame sequence that meets the condition. Since the rendering process and the postprocess are separated, the image frame sequence can be generated regardless of the specification of the display such as resolution and frame rate of the display.

  • Patent number: 8283337
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an agent for treating or preventing vasospasm. An object of the present invention is to provide an agent for treating or preventing cerebral vasospasm as well as arterial vasospasm. Further, an object of the present invention is to provide an agent for treating or preventing cerebral ischemia and cerebral infarction. The above problems are solved by an agent for treating and preventing vasospasm, cerebral ischemia, or cerebral infarction, comprising trehalose as the active ingredient. It is possible, by using such a trehalose-comprising agent, to suppress phenomena such as contraction of blood vessel and thickening of tunica intima and tunica media and to prevent or treat vasospasm and vasospasm-dependent diseases.
