  • Patent number: 7145623
Abstract: The invention provides a flat panel display and a method of manufacturing the same in which the throughput of polycrystallization can be improved in polycrystallizing an amorphous silicon layer formed on a substrate using a low temperature polysilicon manufacturing process. Four gate bus lines are concentrated in the vicinity of a predetermined range indicated by the vertical arrow. The range resides in the vicinity of the boundary between pixels in the second row and pixels in the third row and substantially equally extend across those groups of pixels. Four each of the plurality of gate bus lines and TFT's are combined into a set in the order of row numbers, and at least the TFT's are concentrated in respective ranges X that extend substantially in the middle of respective groups of pixels each consisting of four rows.

  • Publication number: 20060062771
Abstract: Disclosed is a therapeutic autologous-cell delivery support system 100, in which a therapeutic autologous cell extracted from a member is reserved in reserve means 34, and an autologous-cell delivery request from the member which includes ID information and positional information is received. Membership information is retrieved in accordance with the received ID information, and the membership information and positional information of the member is output. When the reserve means is provided in plural number at geographically different locations, one reserve means having a shortest delivery time is selected in accordance with the positional information included in the delivery request. • Patent number: 7017158
Abstract: The multi-processor system comprises a plurality of cell processors for performing data processing, a BCMC for broadcasting broadcast data including data used in data processing to the plurality of cell processors, each of the plurality of cell processors sorts out only data necessary for data processing that is performed by each cell processor from broadcast data broadcasted by BCMC to as to perform data processing. BCMC obtains results of data processing of all cell processors so that they can be supplied to all cell processors as broadcast data, thus making it possible to transmit and receive the results of data processing between the cell processors and perform high-speed data processing as an entire system.

  • Patent number: 7015916
Abstract: A modeling section and geometry processing section collectively generate draw data used for a series of draw processing, and a control section transfers the generated draw data to a multi-path buffer. The draw processing is executed, under control of the control section, when a multi-path controller serially reads out the draw data stored in the multi-path buffer and outputs them to a rendering engine. This successfully saves the band width necessary for transfer of the draw data from a main processor to a graphic processor, and relieve the main processor from the process load.

  • Publication number: 20050275658
Abstract: A secondary texture cache is used commonly by a plurality of texture units, and stores part of texture data in a main memory. A cache controlling CPU controls a refill operation from the main memory to the secondary texture cache in accordance with cache misses of the plurality of texture units, so as to suppress occurrence of thrashing in the secondary texture cache. The cache controlling CPU suppresses occurrence of the refill operation when the plurality of operating units access an identical memory address with a predetermined time difference.

  • Publication number: 20050271361
Abstract: A rendering process for rendering an image frame and a postprocess for adapting the image frame to a display are separated. A rendering processing unit 42 generates an image frame sequence by performing rendering at a predetermined frame rate regardless of a condition that the image frame should meet for output to the display. A postprocessing unit 50 subjects the image frame sequence generated by the rendering processing unit to a merge process so as to generate and output an updated image frame sequence that meets the condition. Since the rendering process and the postprocess are separated, the image frame sequence can be generated regardless of the specification of the display such as resolution and frame rate of the display.

  • Publication number: 20050243101
Abstract: A texture unit is provided for performing texture mapping. A computation unit provides a separation unit with a texel value of a texture given by an index form. The separation unit takes an index value and an alpha value separately out of the texel value in the index form, and provides the index value to a lookup table reference unit and the alpha value to a synthesizing unit. Referring to a lookup table, the lookup table reference unit obtains an RGB value corresponding to the index value and provides the RGB value to the synthesizing unit. The synthesizing unit attaches the alpha value to the RGB value so as to generate color information of the texel and provides the color information to the computation unit. The computation unit performs a filtering processing such as bi-linear interpolation on the texture data based on the color information of the texel.
