    Abstract: A method for forming a pattern film with a narrower width than the resolution of an exposure machine and a resist used independently of etching is provided. The method comprises the steps of: forming a first frame layer having end surfaces facing each other across a space having a width W1; forming a second frame layer having end surfaces facing each other across a space having a width W2 that is larger than the width W1, the space having the width W2 being located right above the space having the width W1; forming a trench-forming film provided with a trench having a minimum width W3 that is smaller than the width W1 so as to fill at least a part of the spaces having the width W1 and the width W2 respectively; and forming a pattern film so as to fill at least a part of the trench.

The positive outer can is formed of a metal plate including crystal grains with a grain size number of 9 to 12. A soft nickel-plating layer is deposited on both sides of the metal plate.     Abstract: The present invention provides a process for producing an optically active 2-allylcarboxylic acid derivative, which is useful as a pharmaceutical intermediate, from readily available and inexpensive starting materials by the process which can be practiced on a commercial scale in a simple and easy manner, and certain 2-allylcarboxamide derivatives, which are novel and important intermediates in that process. An N-allylcarboxamide derivative undergoes rearrangement reaction diastereoselectively in the presence of a base to give a 2-allylcarboxamide derivative, the resulting derivative is subjected to a carbamation reaction and solvolysis to give an optically active 2-allylcarboxylic acid ester, and then the ester obtained is stereoselectively hydrolyzed using an enzyme to produce 2-allylcarboxylic acid having a high optical purity. In addition, the present invention provides a 2-allylcarboxamide derivative compound which is a novel intermediate in the process of the present invention.
