Abstract: An aircraft propulsion system includes an engine. The propulsion system further includes an inlet having a forward cowl lip and an aft cowl lip. The forward cowl lip moves between retracted and deployed positions. The forward cowl lip is adjacent to the aft cowl lip when retracted. The forward cowl lip is spaced apart from the aft cowl lip when deployed. The forward cowl lip has a smaller radius of curvature than the aft cowl lip. The propulsion system further includes a controller coupled with the engine and inlet. The controller restricts the maximum thrust commanded position of the engine when the aircraft is on the ground and moving below a predetermined speed. The controller lifts the restriction when the aircraft is moving at at least the predetermined speed. The controller controls the inlet to deploy the cowl lip when the aircraft is on the ground.

Abstract: Opt-out systems and methods for tailored advertising are disclosed herein. An example method includes registering an endpoint with a service provider hosting an opt-out service that allows users to opt-out of tailored advertising from the endpoint, receiving a first request from a user including an email address, generating a hashed representation of the email address according to a hashing algorithm selected for the endpoint, transmitting a second request to the endpoint, the second request including the hashed representation of the email address, and receiving an acknowledgment that the endpoint has processed the second request. When the second request is processed the user does not receive the tailored advertising from the endpoint.

Abstract: A key fob for controlling operation of a motor vehicle includes a pushbutton that responds to being pushed by causing a signal to be transmitted to the motor vehicle. The signal requests that the motor vehicle perform a predetermined operation. The key fob includes a microphone detecting audible speech from a user and transmitting a signal based on the detected speech to an automatic speech recognition system such that the automatic speech recognition system can recognize in the signal a request that the motor vehicle perform the predetermined operation.

Abstract: Drug delivery systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a drug delivery system can be configured to deliver a drug to a patient in coordination with a physiological parameter of the patient (e.g., the patient’s natural cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulsation or the patient’s heart or respiration rate). In some embodiments, a drug delivery system can be configured to use a combination of infusion and aspiration to control delivery of a drug to a patient. Catheters, controllers, and other components for use in the above systems are also disclosed, as are various methods of using such systems.

Abstract: In a method for imaging a container holding a sample, the container is illuminated with a laser sheet of a first color, and one or more images of the container are capturing by a first imager configured to filter out colors other than the first color. Simultaneously with illuminating the container with the laser sheet of the first color, the container is illuminated with light of a second color different than the first color, wherein the light of the second color illuminates at least a majority of an entire volume of the container. One or more additional imagers of the container are captured by a second imager configured to filter out colors other than the second color. The one or more images and the one or more additional images are analyzed to detect particles within, and/or on an exterior surface of, the container.

Abstract: A method for classifying domains to malware families includes identifying a corpus of malicious domains, identifying one or more suspicious domains, extracting a timeframe corresponding to the one or more suspicious domains, calculating a rank coefficient between the one or more suspicious domains and a current seed domain of the corpus of malicious domains, determining whether the rank correlation coefficient exceeds a rank threshold for the one or more suspicious domains, comparing a number of suspicious domains whose correlation coefficients exceed the rank threshold to a relation threshold, and responsive to determining the number of suspicious domains whose correlation coefficients exceed the rank threshold exceeds the relation threshold, applying a tag to the suspicious domains indicating that the one or more suspicious domains correspond to a same malware family as the current seed domain.

Abstract: In a method for operating a brake system of a vehicle during autonomous driving of the vehicle, a presence of status information relating to a driving command unit which controls the autonomous driving is checked by a brake control unit of the brake system. If the brake control unit detects that the status information is missing or detects status information which indicates an error of the driving command unit, a control signal which controls the autonomous driving in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction is generated by the brake control unit from current environmental data and/or driving parameters.

Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine having multiple cylinders. A warm-up operation is carried out after the internal combustion engine has been started, during which a speed of the internal combustion engine is limited to a limit value. The limit value is selected during the warm-up operation at least temporarily as a function of a starting temperature of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: The type system of a functional programming language, such as DataWeave and/or the like, may be extended to add valuable semantic information to data types (e.g., attributes of data that inform a compiler/interpreter how the data should be used, etc.) that is automatically generated and/or hidden from a developer/programmer. For example, the type system may be configured for flow typing, based on a graph of type dependencies between expressions, without modifying an existing implementation, except at places where extra information can be obtained. Different parts of the type system implementation may be modified, for example, based on one or more injected retyper nodes, to provide more and better type inference.

Abstract: A system for controlling a flow rate through an HVAC component is provided. The system includes a controller communicably coupled with a potentiometer and an actuator configured to drive the HVAC component between multiple positions to affect the flow rate. The controller configured to determine an actuator position setpoint based on a flow rate setpoint, drive the actuator to the actuator position setpoint using a calculated travel period, and set a current actuator position based on a voltage signal received from the potentiometer upon stopping the actuator at an expiration of the calculated travel period.

The execution of the application program may be initiated in a secondary user session hosted on the additional server and preparing a secondary session stream of the secondary user session. The primary and the secondary session streams may be aggregated to form an aggregated session stream, and the aggregated session stream may be processed at the remote client to emulate the execution of the application program on the physical computer system.
