  • Patent number: 11996566
Abstract: The invention provides noble metal-free electro-catalyst compositions for use in acidic media, e.g., acidic electrolyte. The noble metal-free electro-catalyst compositions include non-noble metal absent of noble metal. The non-noble metal is non-noble metal oxide, and typically in the form of any configuration of a solid or hollow nano-material, e.g., nano-particles, a nanocrystalline thin film, nanorods, nanoshells, nanoflakes, nanotubes, nanoplates, nanospheres and nanowhiskers or combinations of myriad nanoscale architecture embodiments. Optionally, the noble metal-free electro-catalyst compositions include dopant, such as, but not limited to halogen. Acidic media includes oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells, and direct methanol fuel cells and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in PEM-based water electrolysis and metal air batteries, and hydrogen generation from solar energy and electricity-driven water splitting.

  • Publication number: 20240130878
Abstract: A proximal stent-graft retention system includes a stent-graft having a suture loop attached to a proximal end of the stent-graft and a delivery catheter having a distal tip that includes a retention feature. The retention feature can include a slot extending through a sidewall of the distal tip and a trigger wire. The slot of the distal tip exposes a portion of the trigger wire within the tip lumen such that the trigger wire may extend through the suture loop of the stent-graft at the slot of the distal tip of the delivery catheter and is configured to retain the proximal end of the stent-graft in the radially expanded configuration via the suture loop to prevent distal migration and compression of the stent-graft. Proximal retraction of the trigger wire releases the suture loop of the stent-graft such that the stent-graft is no longer coupled to the delivery catheter.

  • Patent number: 11964567
Abstract: A propulsion control system has an electric motor configured to generate an axle torque in response to a final torque command, and has a motor constraint that specifies a maximum torque. A motor controller is configured to generate the final torque command in response to an intermediate torque command and a distributed power limit command. An open-loop function in supervisory controller is configured to calculate an initial torque command vector in response to a driver torque command, calculate an intended operating vector by mapping the initial torque command vector into a multidimensional power space, generate the intermediate torque command by clipping the intended operating vector in response to the motor constraint, generate a constrained command vector by clipping the intended operating vector in response to the motor constraint and a plurality of energy storage constraints, and generate the distributed power limit command in response to the constrained command vector.

  • Patent number: 11918736
Abstract: A detachable cap for measuring usage of an inhaler includes a hollow receiving portion adapted to removably receive the inhaler. A vent is formed in a roof portion of the cap to allow airflow through the cap to the inhaler. An extension portion is provided for containing electronic components, including an electronic circuit provided in the extension portion, the electronic circuit including a controller coupled to a storage device and a power source. A pressure sensor is provided adjacent to the vent, the pressure sensor communicatively coupled to the controller and adapted to detect an air pressure within the cap. • Publication number: 20240016632
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method including positioning a first guidewire within a primary guidewire lumen of a multi-lumen tapered tip. A second guidewire is positioned within a secondary guidewire lumen and a shared guidewire lumen of the multi-lumen tapered tip, the second guidewire preventing the first guidewire from entering the shared guidewire lumen. A delivery system including the multi-lumen tapered tip is advanced over the second guidewire. By advancing the delivery system over a single guidewire, any possibility of entanglement of multiple guidewires during advancement of the delivery system is eliminated. The method further includes a guidewire exchange including releasing the second guidewire from the shared guidewire lumen, advancing the first guidewire through and out of the shared guidewire lumen, and advancing the delivery system over the first guidewire to a deployment location.

  • Patent number: 11875363
Abstract: A method and system for generating recommendations across multiple product or service domains are disclosed. The system includes a plurality of domain servers for handling user events and for interfacing with users via the Internet, a database for storing the user events, and a recommendation engine. The recommendation engine further includes one or more computer programs containing instructions for collecting the user events across a plurality of product or service domains in the database, receiving a triggering event for recommendations, analyzing the user events to formulate correlations between the user events in the database, and generating recommendations in response to the triggering event in accordance with the correlations between the user events in the database. The disclosure uses user input data from different domains for producing recommendations in any of those domains. The disclosure allows for access to a greater amount of user input data which in turn improves the quality of recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20240012644
Abstract: A computer comprising one or more processors offering vector instructions may implement a direct convolution on a source data set. The source data set may be one-dimensional or multi-dimensional. For a given vector width, w, of the vector instructions, w consecutive data elements of the output data set are computed in parallel using vector instructions. For multi-dimensional data sets, multiple vectors of the output data set are computed for a single load of a set of vectors from the source data set. New vector instructions are disclosed to improve the performance of the convolution and to enable full utilization of the arithmetic logic units within the one or more processors.
