  • Patent number: 11376076
Abstract: Systems and methods for designing and implementing patient-specific surgical procedures and/or medical devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving a patient data set of a patient. The patient data set is compared to a plurality of reference patient data sets, wherein each of the plurality of reference patient data sets is associated with a corresponding reference patient. A subset of the plurality of reference patient data sets is selected based, at least partly, on similarity to the patient data set and treatment outcome of the corresponding reference patient. Based on the selected subset, at least one surgical procedure or medical device design for treating the patient is generated.

  • Publication number: 20220160518
Abstract: The present technology provides patient-specific vertebral implants. The implants can include a cage having a geometry contoured to mate with an inferior surface of a superior vertebra and a superior surface of an inferior vertebra at a first target position. The implants can also include a plate having a geometry contoured to mate with an identified anatomical structure at a second target position. The cage and plate can be coupled in a predetermined three-dimensional orientation that simultaneously permits the cage to occupy the first target position and the plate to occupy the second target position when the implant is implanted.

  • Publication number: 20220039965
Abstract: Systems and methods for designing patient-specific medical devices are described herein. In some embodiments, a method includes obtaining patient data that includes image data and kinematic data of a patient's spine. A virtual model of the patient's spine is generated and can be manipulated until a target anatomical configuration is achieved. A patient-specific implant can then be designed based at least in part on the target anatomical configuration and the kinematics such that, when the patient-specific implant is implanted in the patient, the patient-specific implant provides the target anatomical correction while maintaining or improving the kinematics of the patient's spine.

  • Publication number: 20210375261
Abstract: A conversation design is received for a conversation bot that enables the conversation bot to provide a service using a conversation flow specified at least in part by the conversation design. The conversation design specifies in a first human language at least a portion of a message content to be provided by the conversation bot. It is identified that an end-user of the conversation bot prefers to converse in a second human language different from the first human language. In response to a determination that the message content is to be provided by the conversation bot to the end-user, the message content of the conversation design is dynamically translated for the end-user from the first human language to the second human language. The translated message content is provided to the end-user in a message from the conversation bot.
