Abstract: To accurately axially position and/or seal between axially facing turbine parts, a groove having a cylindrical cross-section is formed in one surface with a centerline offset toward the one surface, the groove opening through the one surface. Rod segments having corresponding cylindrical cross-sections are inserted in the groove. The rod segments have flat surfaces coextensive therewith projecting a predetermined measured distance from the one surface, thereby accurately axially locating the turbine parts relative to one another and forming a seal therebetween. The rod segments have ends abutting one another to seal the segments one to the other.

Abstract: A generator rotor jacking assembly includes a saddle secured to a generator end shield in the place of an outer oil deflector removed from the end shield. A yoke is located above the saddle and underlies the rotor end. Fluid-actuated cylinders are interposed between anvils on the saddle and flanges on the yoke to elevate the rotor end from the bearing, relieving the bearing from the weight of the rotor. A sling is then disposed about the rotor to support the rotor in an elevated position. The lower end shield is then lowered, carrying with it the associated parts for repair and maintenance.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are disclosed for a catalog feature in a supply chain management framework. Data is collected utilizing a network from a plurality of stores of a supply chain. A network-based interface is displayed for allowing access to the data. An electronic order form is subsequently generated based on the data utilizing the network-based interface for ordering goods from a distributor or a supplier of the supply chain. The network-based interface includes a virtual catalog to facilitate the generation of the electronic order form.
