  • Patent number: 11883525
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions that enable sustained release of a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor, such as axitinib from a bioerodible polyester polymer implant for the treatment of disease. The composition is especially suitable for treating ophthalmic indications, such as neovascular age related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema, by intravitreal injection of the implant. The implant is designed to be pre-loaded into a small diameter needle and injected via self-sealing scleral needle penetration at the pars plana. Small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors may be released from the implants over a period of one week to three years.

  • Patent number: 11874656
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for unmanned aerial vehicle modular command priority determination and filtering system. One of the methods includes enabling control of the UAV by a first control source that provides modular commands to the UAV, each modular command being a command associated with performance of one or more actions by the UAV. Modular commands from a second control source requesting control of the UAV are received. The second control source is determined to be in control of the UAV based on priority information associated with each control source. Control of the UAV is enabled by the second control source, and modular commands are implemented.

  • Patent number: 11840842
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a latch body having a longitudinal wall portion extending from a front wall portion to a rear hinge portion, first and second latch members assembled with the longitudinal wall portion and laterally movable between an extended position and a retracted position, and a hinge bracket. The hinge bracket defines a mounting surface and is hingedly attached to the rear hinge portion of the latch body for angular adjustment of the latch body with respect to the mounting surface. When the latch body is oriented at a first angle, first and second mounting apertures in the front wall portion align with first and second mounting apertures in the hinge bracket, such that installation of mounting fasteners through the corresponding first and second mounting apertures of the front wall portion and the hinge bracket secures the latch body at the first angle.

  • Publication number: 20230345611
Abstract: A conical inductively coupled plasma (ICP) torch (100) and a method for processing sample particles is disclosed. In this method raw, unprocessed, irregularly shaped sample particles (21) are injected into the conical torch, and pass through the plasma to form molten particles (22) and a spheroidization of the particles finally generates solid, smooth, spherical and dense processed particles (23) once cooled. The conical torch has a torch tube that has a conical section and an injector tube (2) that has a conical end. The conical section of the torch tube and the injector tube form an annular gap through which outer plasma gas is passed through. This conically exiting outer gas flow results in a rapid rise in gas temperatures and a short plasma region that rapidly melts any particles.
