  • Publication number: 20210185019
Abstract: A method of secure data transfer and storage using a removable storage device storing encrypted information. The method uses a host that stores and transfers encrypted sensitive information and a customer that desires the information to be securely stored. The customer chooses a unique encryption code to encrypt sensitive information and places the encrypted files on the removable storage device, then physically transfers the information to the host. The encrypted sensitive information travels physically between the host and customer outside of any computer network. The host has a gapped area that remains disconnected from any network. The host takes the sensitive information and copies it to the designated armored storage unit.

  • Patent number: 10919368
Abstract: An apparatus for covering an open top of a transportation trailer container includes a frame on top of the container. The frame surrounds an aperture for flow of material into the container. The apparatus also includes an arm pivotable between a closed position and an open position. The arm holds a rotatable roller for dispensing and receiving a flexible cover. The flexible cover is wrapped around the roller when the arm is in the open position. The flexible cover is unrolled from the roller to cover the aperture due to motion of the arm from the open position to the closed position. The frame includes a side portion having an inwardly and upwardly tapered outer surface. The roller contacts the outer surface when the arm is in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20200383815
Abstract: An articulated Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) with an upper boot member and a lower boot member hinged to one another is made more flexible and effective by having a dorsi-flexion control member attached thereto. The dorsi-flexion control member has a main body with upper portion which is attachable to a predetermined position on the upper boot member, and a lower portion which is attachable to a lower boot member. The main body is fabricated from a material having a predetermined set of elasticity characteristics, which will limit dorsi-flexion movement in a predetermined manner, depending on the material used and the specific configuration.

  • Patent number: 10800316
Abstract: A trailer for transporting granular material, such as sand or proppant, has a purpose-built shape, and loading and unloading hatches at top and bottom. The trailer includes a hollow vessel for holding granular material. The vessel is enclosed with top and bottom hatches. The vessel has a tapered lower section and a domed upper section, allowing bulk material to be piled and concentrated horizontally below and above the hatches. A chassis extends fore and aft of the vessel, and potentially through an interior of the vessel. The chassis may extend upward from a wheeled section so as to pass through a vertically central part of the vessel. The chassis may also act as a trailer suspension system. The vessel may be made of aluminium and mounted to the steel chassis.

  • Publication number: 20200128683
Abstract: A data storage enclosure for storing data on digital storage media has a lid that secures to a base. The enclosure has an upper insulating block that is located adjacent the lid and a lower insulating block that is located in the base. Each insulating block has a corresponding cover that overlays and protects its respective block. A storage unit has outer thermal management layers and a center layer located therebetween. The thermal management layers each contain a corresponding heat absorber that absorbs energy and changes from solid to liquid as the temperature of the storage unit begins to rise to excessive temperatures. The center layer contains a digital storage drive that is connected to a flexible cable that is connected to a sacrificial connector. When assembled, the insulating blocks and covers constrain and hold the storage unit and flexible cable.

  • Patent number: 10605832
Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring alternating current (AC) voltage of an insulated conductor are provided, without requiring a galvanic connection between the conductor and a test electrode. A non-galvanic contact voltage measurement device includes a conductive sensor, an internal ground guard, and a reference shield. A reference voltage source is electrically coupleable between the guard and the reference shield to generate an AC reference voltage which causes a reference current to pass through the conductive sensor. Sensor subsystems may be arranged in layers (e.g., stacked layers, nested layers, or components) of conductors and insulators. The sensor subsystems may be packaged as formed sheets, flexible circuits, integrated circuit (IC) chips, nested components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), etc. The sensor subsystems may be electrically coupled to suitable processing or control circuitry of a non-contact voltage measurement device to allow for measurement of voltages in insulated conductors.

  • Publication number: 20200093566
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for advanced electrode management in neurological monitoring applications include receiving sockets configured to receive connectors having groups of electrodes. The physician is not required to manually map each electrode with its corresponding input channel. Electrodes are coupled to the corresponding input channels in groups through connectors having a unique identification (ID). The system is configured to read the unique ID of each connector and establish its identity. Based on the ID, the system configures itself to automatically correlate or associate each electrode with its corresponding input channel when the connectors are first inserted into the receiving sockets, and again if the connectors are removed and re-inserted into different positions in the receiving sockets, to insure the electrodes are always mapped to the same input channels.

  • Publication number: 20200060860
Abstract: In order to provide efficient support for a user's back, the belt of the present application includes structures to help align and maintain the position of three portions of the users body—an upper abdominal region, a lower abdominal region and the lower back. To provide this support, a belt has an abdominal panel configured to be positioned over the user's abdomen, and a belt member wrapping around the waist region. The abdominal panel has a specific configuration and size to cause an upper portion of the abdomen is held in position and a lower portion of the abdomen to be held in position, with forces being applied so that these portions remain in a preferred alignment. The belt member includes a strap that is configured so that it can be positioned within the user's waist groove, and will provide additional supporting forces. In this way, the belt provides support to three critical locations on the user's body, thus insuring optimum alignment and support of the user's central body region.
