  • Publication number: 20230001407
Abstract: A microporous substrate for detection of surface bound target analyte molecules includes a microporous substrate material having opposed surfaces and tapered micropores extending through the substrate with the micropores having wider openings on one side of the substrate compared to the other side. The micropores have bound therein analyte specific receptors complementary to the target molecules. When a liquid sample containing the target analyte molecules with optical probes attached to the target molecules is flowed through the substrate, they bind to their complementary analyte specific receptors and emit light. This microporous substrate structure gives an increase in the collection efficiency of light emitted from optical probes when the light is detected by a light detector spaced from the side of the microporous substrate facing the larger micropores openings compared to a light collection efficiency of light emitted from the optical probes when the micropores are straight and not tapered.

  • Patent number: 11533253
Abstract: Unlike smart devices, Internet of things (IoTs), such as meter readers, generate very low revenue per user. Traditional tunnel/bearer based connection-oriented architectures do not scale economically for billions of IoT devices due to the amount of signaling overhead associated with GTP tunnel setup/tear down and the states related to GTP tunnels maintained at various parts of the mobile network. However, the mobility network can efficiently support massive stationary and/or mobile IoTs by reducing the amount of signaling overhead, the state of the IoTs kept in network, and simplifying the data plane when possible.

  • Publication number: 20220369202
Abstract: A service level-based integrity detection and self healing process can enable a better quality of service for an end user. For example, when an end user requests a service, a system can provide that service based upon a service level agreement and performance of the network.
