The base bracket comprises a base plate, each camera unit comprises a printed circuit board, and the two camera units are fixed on the base plate and spaced apart each other via the printed circuit boards fixed on the base plate. The base bracket is configured to protect the two camera units from external force attack.

Abstract: A drone system has a camera mounted to a frame of a drone, the camera configured to acquire image data upon receipt of a signal from a flight controller and a precision location device configured for continuously obtaining location data. Additionally, the drone system has a computing device configured for receiving a signal indicating that an image has been acquired, the computing device configured for transmitting a signal to a precision location device indicating that an image has been acquired, and the precision location device is further configured to record event data associated with a time indicating when the image was acquired.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for visualizing an iso-surface is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes generating a plurality of view-point images and view-point metadata of an iso-surface from the perspective of a plurality of view-points. Further, the computer-implemented method includes transferring one or more of the view-point images and view-point metadata to a client device. Furthermore, the computer-implemented method includes displaying the one of the view-point images on the client device. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a user indication for a new user selected view-point and sending a request to the High Performance Computing cluster for a new view-point image, wherein the new user selected view-point image is from non view-point orientation. The computer-implemented method also includes generating a new user view-point image and pixel depth metadata.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for enhanced hydrocarbon recovery in an underground reservoir rock comprising injecting an aqueous conditioning solution containing an alkaline agent, wherein the in-situ effects of the injection are determined by means of a flow simulation on a reservoir model discretized in cells, by taking into account the transport of the alkaline agent and without taking into account the transport of species referred to as intermediate species that result from the injection of the principal agent in aqueous solution, the intermediate species concentrations being determined analytically in each cell.

Abstract: Functionality is added to the CoAP and WebSocket protocols to enable the creation of communication sessions, or connections, at a CoAP layer of a communications network. In one aspect, a connection is created at Client server the CoAP layer using CoAP RESTful messages. In another aspect, new CoAP Options are introduced to request initiation and deletion of a connection at the CoAP layer. In yet another aspect, new CoAP Codes are introduced to request initiation and deletion of a connection at the CoAP layer. In a further aspect, new CoAP Tokens are introduced to request initiation and deletion of a connection at the CoAP layer.

Abstract: A method for controlling the delivery of a breathing gas to a patient. The method comprises: delivering a flow of breathing gas to a patient, the breathing gas having a breathing gas flowrate and a fraction of inspired oxygen; measuring an oxygen saturation level of the patient; determining a respiratory rate of the patient; automatically adjusting the fraction of inspired oxygen of the breathing gas based on the measured oxygen saturation level of the patient and a breathing gas flowrate set-point; and automatically adjusting the breathing gas flowrate set-point based on the determined respiratory rate of the patient.

Abstract: Described herein are flexible implantable occluding devices that can, for example, navigate the tortuous vessels of the neurovasculature. The occluding devices can also conform to the shape of the tortuous vessels of the vasculature. In some embodiments, the occluding devices can direct blood flow within a vessel away from an aneurysm or limit blood flow to the aneurysm. Some embodiments describe methods and apparatus for adjusting, along a length of the device, the porosity of the occluding device. In some embodiments, the occluding devices allows adequate blood flow to be provided to adjacent structures such that those structures, whether they are branch vessels or oxygen-demanding tissues, are not deprived of the necessary blood flow.

Abstract: A vascular remodeling device is provided. The device has an anchor portion, sized for deployment in a blood vessel, that is radially expandable from a collapsed state to an expanded state. The device also includes a distal portion sized for deployment in a blood vessel. The distal portion is radially expandable from a collapsed state to an expanded state and has a distal face that is sufficiently occlusive in the distal-to-proximal direction to perform a therapeutic blocking function in an aneurysm neck. The device also has an intermediate portion that interconnects a distal end of the anchor portion and a proximal end of the distal portion. In some embodiments, the anchor portion and/or distal portion has a plurality of interconnected struts.

Abstract: A new semantic mashup architecture with modular design can comprise separate Semantic Mashup Profiles (SMPs), Virtual Semantic Mashup Resources (VSMRs), and Semantic Mashup Results (SMRSs). This kind of modular design greatly improves the reusability of SMPs, VSMRs, and SMRSs. In addition, this new mashup architecture leverages semantics during each mashup process, which increases the interoperability. Moreover, this new architecture essentially realizes new Semantic Mashup Service (SMS) at the service layer and consequently improves system efficiency.

The holder includes a spring-loaded sliding jaw to accommodate insertion of the phone using a single hand. Once the phone is inserted, the smart phone is held in place by the spring-loaded sliding jaw which presses the smart phone against a non-moving jaw. The holder includes features that allow for easy one-handed operation including a landing area for the user's thumb, a flange to aid in removal of the smart phone, a tread to add friction to one of the thumb areas. The sliding jaw is located opposite of the point of the scoop.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and other embodiments associated with image processing operations are disclosed that provide image contrast enhancement. According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes histogram stretching logic to generate a stretched histogram. The stretched histogram is generated by compressing an enlarging a contrast of brightness bins of an equalized histogram of brightness component values formed from a previous input frame of image pixel data. Flat region detection logic classifies pixels of the previous input frame of image pixel data as being flat pixels or non-flat pixels, and counts a number of the flat pixels. Noise detection logic classifies the flat pixels as being noisy pixels or non-noisy pixels, and counts a number of the noisy pixels. The number of noisy pixels and characteristics of the stretched histogram are used to enhance the contrast of a current input frame of image pixel data.
