  • Patent number: 10004618
Abstract: Described herein are flexible implantable occluding devices that can, for example, navigate the tortuous vessels of the neurovasculature. The occluding devices can also conform to the shape of the tortuous vessels of the vasculature. In some embodiments, the occluding devices can direct blood flow within a vessel away from an aneurysm or limit blood flow to the aneurysm. Some embodiments describe methods and apparatus for adjusting, along a length of the device, the porosity of the occluding device. In some embodiments, the occluding devices allows adequate blood flow to be provided to adjacent structures such that those structures, whether they are branch vessels or oxygen-demanding tissues, are not deprived of the necessary blood flow.

  • Patent number: 10009707
Abstract: Interworking LWM2M and OMA DM protocols is disclosed. A new DDF MO enables adding LWM2M object definitions to DM Servers and Gateways. This MO allows a DM Server/Gateway to accept newly defined MOs, such as LWM2M Object definitions. New procedures are defined for registering DDF documents to the newly created DDF MO. A new registration interface is added in the GwMO protocol to allow an LWM2M Server to register end devices to a DM gateway. A protocol translation mechanism bridges the gap between non-RESTful to RESTful protocols, such as OMA DM and/or GwMO to LWM2M.

  • Patent number: 10007518
Abstract: The number of registers required is reduced by overlapping scalar and vector registers. This also allows increased compiler flexibility when mixing scalar and vector instructions. Local register read ports are minimized by restricting read access. Dedicated predicate registers reduces requirements for general registers, and allows reduction of critical timing paths by allowing the predicate registers to be placed next to the predicate unit.

  • Publication number: 20180176853
Abstract: Wireless channels and timeslots are allocated in a distributed and reactive manner by network devices. A source device sends to neighbor devices a track discovery request indicating a destination and data bandwidth / channel and timeslot requirements. The neighbors conditionally forward the message until it reaches the destination device. The forwarded message includes information about the devices traversed by the message. Messages will not be forwarded if the recipient lacks sufficient resources to accommodate the data bandwidth requirements. The destination selects a path to be a communications track based upon characteristics of the one or more paths by which the request was received, and sends a reply back to the source device along the selected path. Once established, tracks may be kept alive, updated, and/or repaired via messaging among the devices along the track.

  • Publication number: 20180174331
Abstract: A method of modifying a scene model for a sequence of input images includes receiving, selecting, determining, and modifying. Scene modes associated with the sequence are received. For each image pixel in an input image of the sequence, two scene modes are selected from the received scene modes based on distances between the image pixel color value and the scene modes color values at a corresponding pixel location. It is determined if the image pixel color value matches the color value of any of the selected scene modes. It is determined if the image pixel color value is a mixture of the color values of the selected scene modes. The color value of a closest selected scene mode is modified or is maintained depending on whether there is one matched mode and the image pixel color value is not a mixture of the color values of the selected scene modes.

  • Patent number: 9996752
Abstract: A method and system associated with a camera view of a moving-object in a scene. The method comprises detecting and tracking the moving object over multiple video frames, estimating an orientation of the moving object in each of the video frames, and constructing a cost map from the estimated orientations over the multiple video frames for finding a minimum cost path over the cost map. The Method also comprises determining regularized orientation estimates of the moving-object from the minimum cost path, and locating the vanishing point of the camera view based on an axis of the moving-object from the minimum cost path, the axis formed by using the regularized orientation estimates.

  • Patent number: 9990291
Abstract: Aspects disclosed herein include avoiding deadlocks in processor-based systems employing retry and in-order-response non-retry bus coherency protocols. In this regard, an interface bridge circuit is communicatively coupled to a first core device that implements a retry bus coherency protocol, and a second core device that implements an in-order-response non-retry bus coherency protocol. The interface bridge circuit receives a snoop command from the first core device, and forwards the snoop command to the second core device. While the snoop command is pending, the interface bridge circuit detects a potential deadlock condition between the first core device and the second core device. In response to detecting the potential deadlock condition, the interface bridge circuit is configured to send a retry response to the first core device. This enables the first core device to continue processing, thereby eliminating the potential deadlock condition.

  • Publication number: 20180147075
Abstract: A method of reducing blood flow within an aneurysm includes: injecting a contrast agent into a blood vessel including an aneurysm; expanding a stent, from a delivery device, across the aneurysm; and confirming that a stagnated area forms in the aneurysm. The stagnated area can form a crescent shape, a mushroom shape, a hemispherical shape, and/or a flat side. Upon confirming that the stagnated area forms in the aneurysm, the delivery device can be withdrawn from the blood vessel. The stagnated area can include the contrast agent. If the stagnated area does not form in the aneurysm, a second occluding device may be deployed.

  • Patent number: 9973698
Abstract: A method of determining stability of a camera comprises capturing an image with the camera and then (A) determining a magnitude of motion for each region of a current sub-division of the image. A step (B) then determines a number of the magnitudes of motion not larger than a magnitude threshold associated with the current sub-division, and where the determined number is greater than or equal to a region threshold associated with the number of regions in the current sub-division, (i) determining the camera to be stable, or otherwise (ii) dividing the current sub-division of the image into a further sub-division and repeating steps (A) and (B) upon the further sub-division.

  • Patent number: 9956503
Abstract: A solvent diluted bitumen is produced by a method that includes adding paraffinic solvent to bitumen froth to form a solvent diluted bitumen froth, and discharging the solvent diluted bitumen froth into a vessel, such that settlement of the solvent diluted bitumen froth in the interior of the vessel establishes a heavier phase zone, a lighter phase zone, and an interface. A discharge point is located above the interface and within the lighter phase zone. Lighter phases separate up toward an overflow outlet of the vessel while heavier phases separate down toward an underflow outlet of the vessel. The solvent diluted bitumen is collected from the overflow outlet, and a solvent diluted underflow stream is collected from the underflow outlet.
