  • Patent number: 11666465
Abstract: Described herein are flexible implantable occluding devices that can, for example, navigate the tortuous vessels of the neurovasculature. The occluding devices can also conform to the shape of the tortuous vessels of the vasculature. In some embodiments, the occluding devices can direct blood flow within a vessel away from an aneurysm or limit blood flow to the aneurysm. Some embodiments describe methods and apparatus for adjusting, along a length of the device, the porosity of the occluding device. In some embodiments, the occluding devices allows adequate blood flow to be provided to adjacent structures such that those structures, whether they are branch vessels or oxygen-demanding tissues, are not deprived of the necessary blood flow.

  • Patent number: 11564817
Abstract: A method of reducing blood flow within an aneurysm includes: injecting a contrast agent into a blood vessel including an aneurysm; expanding a stent, from a delivery device, across the aneurysm; and confirming that a stagnated area forms in the aneurysm. The stagnated area can form a crescent shape, a mushroom shape, a hemispherical shape, and/or a flat side. Upon confirming that the stagnated area forms in the aneurysm, the delivery device can be withdrawn from the blood vessel. The stagnated area can include the contrast agent. If the stagnated area does not form in the aneurysm, a second occluding device may be deployed. After withdrawing the delivery device, substantially all of the aneurysm progressively thromboses.

Abstract: A method of calibrating an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) sensor on a vehicle includes receiving a signal at a handheld vehicle diagnostic tool from an onboard vehicle computer, with the signal including a list of ADAS sensors located on the vehicle. The list is displayed on the diagnostic tool and user input is received on the diagnostic tool identifying a selected ADAS sensor from the list. Calibration instructions associated with the selected ADAS sensor are displayed in response to receiving the user input. An image is projected onto a projection surface adjacent the vehicle, with the projected image being associated with calibrating the selected ADAS sensor. Computer executable instructions are executed on the diagnostic tool to autonomously calibrate the selected ADAS sensor using the projected image in response to receipt of the user input and projecting the image onto the projection surface.
