  • Publication number: 20140189628
Abstract: A system is provided for use with circuit layout design data having a set of differential pairs and a set of bond wire pairs. A layout portion can receive the circuit layout design data. A crosstalk calculating portion can determine a first amount of crosstalk in a circuit corresponding to the circuit layout design data. A modifier can modify the circuit layout design data into modified circuit layout design data such that one of the set of differential pairs and the set of bond wire pairs includes a crossover. The crosstalk calculating portion can further determine a second amount of crosstalk in a circuit corresponding to the modified circuit layout design data. An optimizer can compare the first amount of crosstalk with the second amount of crosstalk to generate optimized circuit layout design data. A layout designer can output the optimized circuit layout design data.

  • Publication number: 20140114460
Abstract: A cross-direction feedback controller, profiler system and actuator setpoint controller are provided in communication with a plurality of actuators in a machine of a web-forming process, and with a local region detector that determines an actual profile response of a product of the web-forming process in response to consecutively bumping each of the actuators. A relationship between generated profile response data and an actuator setpoint change in the generated profile response data is represent by a profile-to-actuator general interaction matrix, which is expanded into linear equations that describe impacts of bumped actuators on different profile points of generated profile response data. The linear equations are rearranged into a bump-magnitude matrix as a function of a desired response model vector. A least-square solution is found for the bump-magnitude matrix, convolved with a window function and then optimized to minimize error between an actual and a modeled profile response.

  • Patent number: 8333465
Abstract: Disclosed are a roll-to-roll printing system and method in which a large number of micro-nozzles are formed directly in a printing roll, and thus ink supplied to the central portion of the roll can be formed into micro-inkjets by inducing an electrostatic field, and furthermore, as a result of the formation of the micro-inkjets, a micro-sized pattern significantly smaller than that achievable by a prior pattern formation method can be printed on a print medium, and in addition, the relative speed of the print medium relative to the roll can be maintained at a speed close to “0” so as to improve the resolution, integration density and precision of the printed pattern. According to the present invention, a large amount of micro-nozzles are formed directly in a printing roll, and thus ink supplied to the central portion of the roll can be formed into micro-inkjets by inducing an electrostatic field.

  • Patent number: 8321137
Abstract: Methods, computer systems, and computer readable medium for testing a plurality of models in order to classify a biological specimen. A determination is made as to whether a model precondition associated with a model in the plurality of models has been satisfied. The model is skipped when the model precondition has not been satisfied. When the model precondition has been satisfied, the first model is tested by selecting a calculation from the first model. The selected calculation is computed using cellular constituent abundance values from the biological specimen in accordance with a calculation algorithm set forth in the selected model. This selecting and computing is repeated for one or more calculations in the selected model. Then, each of these calculations is aggregated in accordance with an aggregation algorithm associated with the selected model. These steps are repeated for at least one other model in the plurality of models.
