  • Publication number: 20160062622
Abstract: A mesh is a collection of multiple shapes referred to as elements, each of which can share an edge with one or more other elements of the mesh. The mesh is presented to the user on a display, and the user identifies a new element to be added to the mesh. User input is received to manipulate the new element (e.g., move the new element around the display). As the new element is manipulated, various conditions are applied to determine edges of elements existing in the mesh that the new element can be snapped to. Snapping a new element to an edge of an existing element in the mesh refers to adding the new element to the mesh so that the new element and the existing element share the edge. Indications of the edges of existing elements to which the new element can be snapped are provided to the user.

  • Publication number: 20150356088
Abstract: A geocoding architecture that generates and associates one or more tile documents with geocoded tiles. When connected entities are defined, the connected entity attributes are collected in a single tile document so that tile-document terms are attributes of all connected entities. These terms later serve as keys that enable search for tiles relevant for a given query. Entity documents are created that are an aggregation of entity attributes. Like the entity document, the tile document serves as an aggregator for all the geospatial entities within a pre-determined surface area. Search is then performed on the content of tile and entity documents.

  • Patent number: 9090743
Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a metalloporphyrin polymer on a substrate. The method creates a functionalized substrate by attaching an anchor group of a linker, including a terminal alkyne group, to a substrate surface. The functionalized substrate is then exposed to metalloporphyrin monomers, where each metalloporphyrin monomer includes at least two terminal alkyne groups. A plurality of metalloporphyrin monomers (e.g., zinc porphyrin monomers) are thus linked via the metalloporphyrin monomer terminal alkyne groups, forming a metalloporphyrin polymer attached to the substrate. In one aspect, linking the plurality of metalloporphyrin monomers via the metalloporphyrin monomer terminal alkyne groups includes forming butadiyne groups between adjacent metalloporphyrins. Then, forming the metalloporphyrin polymer attached to the substrate includes attaching the metalloporphyrin polymer, via a metalloporphyrin monomer terminal alkyne group, to the terminal alkyne group of an associated linker.
