  • Publication number: 20190073093
Abstract: A mesh is a collection of multiple shapes referred to as elements, each of which can share an edge with one or more other elements of the mesh. The mesh is presented to the user on a display, and the user identifies a new element to be added to the mesh. User input is received to manipulate the new element (e.g., move the new element around the display). As the new element is manipulated, various conditions are applied to determine edges of elements existing in the mesh that the new element can be snapped to. Snapping a new element to an edge of an existing element in the mesh refers to adding the new element to the mesh so that the new element and the existing element share the edge. Indications of the edges of existing elements to which the new element can be snapped are provided to the user.

  • Patent number: 10218744
Abstract: A method may include receiving, at an application server, a session initiation protocol (SIP) message including a public user identifier (ID) associated a user. The public user ID corresponds to a plurality of user devices. The method also includes determining an applicable order of alerting at least one of the plurality of user devices. The method further includes identifying at least one available user device associated with the user, based on a terminal identifier (ID) associated with each at least one available user device. The method also includes selecting a user device from the at least one available user device based on the applicable order of alerting. A SIP invite message, including a terminal ID for the selected user device, is generated. • Patent number: 10214968
Abstract: Methods of operating earth-boring tools may involve extending a selectively actuatable cutting element outward from a face of the earth-boring tool. A portion of an underlying earth formation may be crushed by a crushing cutting action utilizing the selectively actuatable cutting element in response to extension of the cutting element. The selectively actuatable cutting element may subsequently be retracted. Earth-boring tools may include a selectively actuatable cutting element mounted to a blade, the selectively actuatable cutting element configured to move between a retracted state in which the selectively actuatable cutting element does not engage with an underlying earth formation and an extended state in which the selectively actuatable cutting element engages with the underlying earth formation. The selectively actuatable cutting element may be configured to perform a gouging or crushing cutting action at least upon initial positioning into the extended state.

  • Publication number: 20180365813
Abstract: In some embodiments, an image editing application stores, based on a first selection input, a selection state that identifies a first image portion of a target image as included in a preview image displayed in a mask-based editing interface of the image editing application. An edit to the preview image generated from the selected first image portion is applied in the mask-based editing interface. The image editing application also updates an edit state that tracks the edit applied to the preview image. The image editing application modifies, based on a second selection input received via the mask-based editing interface, the selection state to include a second image portion in the preview image. The edit state is maintained with the applied edit concurrently with modifying the selection state. The image editing application applies the edit to the modified preview image in the mask-based editing interface.

  • Patent number: 10116255
Abstract: A solar panel cleaning system includes a brush connected by a hose to a fluid supply. The brush has scrubbing material, such as bristles, attached to a brush body for mechanically cleaning the surface of the solar panel. The width of the contact surface of the scrubbing material may be equal to the width of the solar panel, so that the solar panel may be cleaned with only upward and downward strokes. The brush body may further support a fluid manifold that receives the fluid from the fluid supply. The fluid manifold may include nozzles that emit the fluid under pressure onto the solar panel. The nozzles may project both frontward and rearward of the brush body so that the fluid sprays off the solar panel in front of and behind the brush. Spray patterns of the nozzles may overlap and impinge the entire width of the solar panel.

  • Patent number: 10107040
Abstract: An earth-boring tool includes primary and secondary cutting elements mounted to a tool body. The secondary cutting elements define a secondary cutting profile. The secondary cutting profile is recessed relative to the primary cutting profile, which is defined by the primary cutting elements. In an unworn condition, the primary cutting elements engage and cut a formation material while the secondary cutting elements do not. Each secondary cutting element includes a flat surface oriented at an angle relative to a longitudinal axis thereof and extending between a front cutting face and a peripheral side surface thereof. The secondary cutting elements are oriented on the tool body such that a surface area of the flat surface thereof will engage the formation material at least substantially simultaneously when the primary cutting elements reach a worn condition. Methods of forming the earth-boring tool and methods of using the earth-boring tool are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10069871
Abstract: A device may receive a first session initiation protocol (SIP) message from another device, and may determine a first timestamp associated with the first SIP message. The first timestamp may represent a receipt time of the first SIP message by the device. The device may determine a second timestamp associated with a second SIP message. The second timestamp may represent a transmission time of the second SIP message by the device, and may be a response to the first SIP message. The device may determine a device latency value representing a difference between the second timestamp and the first timestamp. The device may provide the second SIP message to the other device at the transmission time. The second SIP message may include the device latency value.
