  • Patent number: 11544806
Abstract: In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.

  • Publication number: 20220393423
Abstract: A system has fiber amplifiers that amplify a seed signal into a high power signal. Control circuity drives the fiber amplifiers. An auxiliary broad-linewidth signal can be selectively introduced to mitigate the onset of Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) when the primary input seed source does not meet the requirements of power and/or linewidth. To determine whether to mitigate SBS, an input photodiode can detect the seed signal, and the control circuity can detect an operational parameter associated with a detected signal indicative of an onset of SBS on the optical path. In response to the detection, the control circuitry introduces an auxiliary broad-linewidth signal from a broad-linewidth source, which can mitigate the onset of SBS on the optical path.

  • Publication number: 20220342806
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system may support programmable hashing of address bits at a plurality of levels of granularity to map memory addresses to memory controllers and ultimately at least to memory devices. The hashing may be programmed to distribute pages of memory across the memory controllers, and consecutive blocks of the page may be mapped to physically distant memory controllers. In an embodiment, address bits may be dropped from each level of granularity, forming a compacted pipe address to save power within the memory controller. In an embodiment, a memory folding scheme may be employed to reduce the number of active memory devices and/or memory controllers in the system when the full complement of memory is not needed.
