  • Patent number: 10223051
Abstract: A print device that has a port, a print engine, a processing device and a memory. The print device is configured to detect that a portable memory device has become communicatively connected to the port, retrieve a digital document file to be printed and a print instruction from the portable memory device, determine that a first print job is being performed in the print device, determine a priority for the first print job and a priority for a second print job derived from the digital document file, and determine that the priority of the first print job is lower than that of the second print job. The print device is also configured to suspend performance of the first print job, automatically perform the second print job based on the print instruction, detect that the second print job has been completed or interrupted, and automatically resume the first print job.

  • Publication number: 20190042489
Abstract: A method and architecture to write data between a source and destination by memory mapped writes or streaming packets between any of a host, a peripheral or a sub-peripheral device. A stream address is used to write the data to a memory of the destination without the source being aware of physical addresses of destination memory, i.e., memory descriptors or pointers are not used, allowing the destination to manage its own memory. The stream address may enable streaming data packets over interconnects that may not allow packet streaming by dividing a data packet into data chunks and including a stream address for each chunk. The stream address for a given packet includes a repeated first portion indicating the destination and a varied second portion indicating variable information for each data chunk such as start of packet (SoP) and end of packet (EoP) identifiers.

  • Publication number: 20180329615
Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for localizing a user interface based on a personal device of a user. The method includes receiving a personal device by a multi-function device, the personal device stores one or more documents, the personal device is associated with a name and each document is associated with a name, wherein the name of the personal device and the name of each document indicate a local language of the user. Upon receiving, the personal device is detected by the multi-function device. Then, the name of the personal device and the name of each document are extracted and compared with one or more pre-stored language patterns to detect the local language of the user. Upon detection, the pre-defined language of the user interface is automatically changed to the local language of the user.

  • Patent number: 10127595
Abstract: Item-level information of a particular item may be processed to categorize the particular item. In some instances, the particular item may be ranked across multiple merchants that are offering the particular item for acquisition. The ranking may be based on the item-level information that relates to an attribute of the particular item for the individual merchants. For example, the item-level information may include a cost of the particular item at a merchant, a rating of the particular item for a merchant, a number of calories of the particular item for a merchant, and so on. Information regarding the ranking may be displayed or otherwise output to enable the user to identify and order the particular item from a merchant that satisfies the user's needs.

  • Patent number: 10098095
Abstract: When a UE does not completely decode a packet transmitted from a base station, the UE may send ACK/NACK to the base station, upon which the base station may retransmit the packet based on the ACK/NACK. However, the ACK/NACK fails to provide the base station with information needed by the UE for completely decoding the packet. Accordingly, a method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus receives a packet from a base station having a first MCS, determines information to provide to the base station, wherein the information comprises CQI relating to a channel condition and/or interference condition corresponding to time-frequency resources allocated for the received packet, and sends the information to the base station. Thereafter, the apparatus re-receives the packet from the base station, the re-received packet having a second MCS according to the information sent to the base station.
