  • Publication number: 20180114531
Abstract: Approaches provide for using voice information to influence the importance of search result categories for a search query. For example, various embodiments may provide search results for a search query based on a most relevant search result category to the search query. Voice information associated with a subsequent user interaction may be analyzed to identify whether the search result category is correct or if search results from a different category should be provided. Additionally, the voice information may be used to update the relevance score of the search result category to the search query to improve the category matching of future queries.

  • Publication number: 20170366201
Abstract: A coded signal is received via a physical channel. The coded signal is encoded by a parity check matrix. In some examples, the coded signal is low density parity check-encoded. The coded signal is decoded to determine a result signal. Said decoding alternatingly updates, for each one of a number of iterations, bit node values representing bits of the result signal and check node values representing constrains of the parity check matrix. In some examples, the decoding determines the result signal at a first precision and updates at least partly at a second precision which is lower than the first precision. In further examples, the number of iterations is dynamically adjusted.

  • Patent number: 9740589
Abstract: A trace of a bounded liveness failure of a system component is received, by one or more processors, along with fairness constraints and liveness assertion conditions. One or more processors generate randomized values for unassigned input values and register values, of the trace, and simulate traversal of each of a sequence of states of the trace. One or more processors determine whether traversing the sequence of states of the trace results in a repetition of a state, and responsive to determining that traversing the sequence of states of the trace does result in a repetition of a state, and the set of fairness constraints are asserted within the repetition of a state, and that the continuous liveness assertion conditions are maintained throughout the repetition of the state, a concrete counterexample of a liveness property of the system component is reported.

  • Patent number: 9639783
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods to relate images of words to a list of words are provided. A trellis based word decoder analyses a set of OCR characters and probabilities using a forward pass across a forward trellis and a reverse pass across a reverse trellis. Multiple paths may result, however, the most likely path from the trellises has the highest probability with valid links. A valid link is determined from the trellis by some dictionary word traversing the link. The most likely path is compared with a list of words to find the word closest to the most.

  • Patent number: 9599042
Abstract: A method for controlling fuel injection timing into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine having an internal control system based on ignition delay correlation wherein intake manifold pressure and oxygen concentration values are compared to steady state values of manifold pressure and oxygen concentration of a particular indicated torque set-point and engine speed. Comparing intake manifold pressure and oxygen concentration to steady state reference values further comprises experimentally determining exponential factors for intake manifold pressure factor and oxygen concentration factors. A multiplier for intake manifold pressure and oxygen concentration is determined taking into consideration the exponential factors for manifold pressure and oxygen concentration. An equation for correlation ignition delay is used to determine optional SOI timing.

  • Patent number: 9585156
Abstract: When communications of a single radio access technology (RAT), or different radio access technologies in a proximate communication spectrum are operating at the same time, potential interference between devices may occur. To reduce the interference, the time division duplex (TDD) configuration of one or more conflicting device may be altered. For example, at the edge of a communication region, TDD configurations used by edge base stations to communicate with mobile devices may be set to reduce interference. As another example, communications of a first device may be altered so the first device schedules uplink communications when a second device also has uplink communications scheduled. Other configurations may also be implemented.
