  • Publication number: 20200260317
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for packet latency reduction in mobile radio access networks. One method may include, when a buffer of a first sublayer of a wireless access link is empty and there is a new data unit in the first sublayer or when the first sublayer buffer is not empty and a data unit leaves a second sublayer buffer, comparing the number of data units currently stored in the second sublayer buffer with a queue length threshold that defines a total amount of space in the second sublayer buffer. When the number of data units currently stored in the second sublayer buffer is less than the queue length threshold, the method may also include transferring the data unit from the first sublayer to the second sublayer.

  • Patent number: 10740541
Abstract: Representative embodiments disclose mechanisms to validate statements made as part of a document creation or editing process. As the user edits or creates a document using a document creation/editing application, statements made in the document can be submitted to a validation service in a proactive or reactive manner. The statement validation service receives the statement, resolves any coreferences using a coreference resolution process. Once coreferences in the statement have been resolved and replaced, entities are resolved using an entity resolution process. Predicates are then resolved using a predicate resolution process. Entity-predicate pairs are then used to traverse a knowledge graph to extract information relevant to the statement. Suggested corrections are created from the extracted information and presented to the user via the document creation/editing application.

  • Patent number: 10713715
Abstract: A computing device and method for managing an account. A computer displays a historical timeline and an event placement timeline. Past events are shown along the historical timeline, and future events along the event placement timeline. The computer suggest a change to the timing of one of the events. The user moves a movable object to the proposed timing to reschedule the event. The settings of the account are modified to automatically execute that event at the new timing.

  • Patent number: 10664906
Abstract: A device and method for management of an account. An event placement timeline is displayed. Account events are shown along the timeline. A preferred event time range or “safe zone” is shown along the timeline. The “safe zone” is the portion of the month during which it is safe to schedule certain events, like bill payments, with lower risk of NSF, overdraft or the like. The user moves a movable object into the “safe zone” to reschedule the account event in the “safe zone”, and the settings of the account are modified to automatically execute the account event at that time.

  • Publication number: 20200097955
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for a remittance system that pre-populates remittance data based on historical usage of remittance transactions. One example system includes operations to generate, using a predictive model, data indicating a predicted likelihood of a user selecting at least one data exchange transaction, wherein the data indicates the predicted likelihood of the user performing the at least one data exchange transaction. A request is received to access a remittance page. In response, the at least one data exchange transaction that was previously generated is selected from a repository of predicted likelihoods. Remittance data associated with a UI element is generated that includes the at least one data exchange transaction. The remittance data is transmitted to the device. An indication from the device is received for interacting with the UI element. The data exchange transaction is executed in response to receiving the indication.

  • Publication number: 20200059295
Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to forbidden area procedures and connection release management for a user terminal (UT). Forbidden area-related procedures include, for example, using a special paging area code (PAC) in conjunction with a forbidden area, defining a location reporting threshold for a UT based on the proximity of the UT to a forbidden area, or using a default paging area code if a service restriction for a UT has ended. Connection release management includes, for example, a UT sending a request to cause the release of a Radio Connection that the UT no longer needs, or a UT sending a Location Indication (e.g., including a flag requesting release of a connection) to release the connection used for location reporting when a UT is done sending the location information and is going to go back to idle mode.

  • Publication number: 20200058068
Abstract: The disclosed exemplary embodiments include computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that, among other things, dynamically provision and initiate exchanges of data between network-connected devices and systems based on aggregated contextual information. For example, a network-connected apparatus may obtain (i) first data identifying first exchanges of data initiated during a first temporal interval, (ii) second data identifying a current parameter value of the first data exchanges, and (iii) third data identifying a status of an account involved in the first data exchanges. Based on the first, second, and third data, the apparatus may compute a value indicative of a probability of an initiation of a second data exchange involving the account during a second temporal interval. Further, when the computed value is consistent with an alert criterion, the apparatus may transmit alert data characterizing the second data exchange to a device for display within an interface.
