  • Patent number: 12289229
Abstract: A first network device may receive an advertisement that includes a prefix for a second network device, wherein the advertisement is destined for a third network device. The first network device may determine, based on a network topology, whether a next hop is one hop away or multiple hops away. The first network device may selectively modify the advertisement to include a first segment identifier, based on the next hop being one hop away and to generate a first modified advertisement, or may modify the advertisement to include a second segment identifier, based on the next hop being multiple hops away and to generate a second modified advertisement. The first network device may forward the first modified advertisement or the second modified advertisement toward the third network device.

  • Patent number: 12285029
Abstract: Alkaline extraction followed by acid precipitation or ultrafiltration method for preparation of protein isolates from oilseeds cakes/meals is followed. The strong alkaline and acidic conditions alter the functional properties of the protein, which adversely affects its quality. The present invention provides a microbial based process to produce protein isolates/concentrates from oilseed cakes/meals or from other similar type of sources either plant or animal origin without addition of strong or diluted acid. The protein is extracted in aqueous media or alkaline aqueous media with or without containing specified salt for specified duration. The extract is centrifuged, mixed with known microbial culture (the process is not limited to the particular strain) and incubated at particular temperature and duration. The precipitated protein is recovered and dried to get protein isolates/concentrates.

  • Patent number: 12287763
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and storage server computing device that stores an identifier for a file system block evicted from a buffer cache in an entry in a table. The file system block is inserted into a victim cache hosted by an ephemeral block-level storage device by invoking a function provided by an application programming interface (API). The API exposes the ephemeral block-level storage device to a virtual storage appliance via an operating system of the storage server computing device. The entry in the table is updated to include location(s) on the ephemeral block-level storage device at which one or more portions of the file system block are stored, the location(s) returned in response to the function invocation. By this technology, performance of the virtual storage appliance is significantly improved, resulting in lower latency for client devices requesting data in a cloud storage environment.

  • Patent number: 12287980
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing a fast resynchronization of a mirrored aggregate of a distributed storage system using disk-level cloning are provided. According to one embodiment, responsive to a failure of a disk of a plex of the mirrored aggregate utilized by a high-availability (HA) pair of nodes of a distributed storage system, disk-level clones of the disks of a healthy plex may be created external to the distributed storage system and attached to the degraded HA partner node. After detection of the cloned disks by the degraded HA partner node, mirror protection may be efficiently re-established by assimilating the cloned disks within the failed plex and then resynchronizing the mirrored aggregate by performing a level-1 resync of the failed plex with the healthy plex based on a base file system snapshot of the healthy plex. In this manner, a more time-consuming level-0 resync may be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20250131089
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods, systems and storage media for conducting a security review of a system. Certain examples relate to the use of trained generative AI to generating a root security query using a machine learning (ML) generator, based on a system description. A security requirement associated with the root security query is extracted, and an indication of the root security query is output at a user interface. A user input is received in response, and the ML generator generates a follow-up request that is output via the user interface. A second user input is received in response to the follow-up request, and the ML generator then determines that the security requirement is not satisfied by the target system.

  • Patent number: 12282452
Abstract: A cloud migration framework may include an enterprise application data store that contains electronic records associated with enterprise applications. Each record may include, for example, an electronic record identifier and enterprise application parameters. A data repository stores a catalogue of cloud computing patterns. A back-end application computer server retrieves information from the enterprise application data store and, based on enterprise application parameters, creates a move group representing a subset of the enterprise applications. For each application in the move group, the computer server identifies whether an appropriate cloud computing pattern exists in the catalogue. If an appropriate cloud computing pattern is identified, it is used to automatically create a reference implementation of the enterprise application in a cloud computing environment.
