Abstract: Direct-bonded LED arrays and applications are provided. An example process fabricates a LED structure that includes coplanar electrical contacts for p-type and n-type semiconductors of the LED structure on a flat bonding interface surface of the LED structure. The coplanar electrical contacts of the flat bonding interface surface are direct-bonded to electrical contacts of a driver circuit for the LED structure. In a wafer-level process, micro-LED structures are fabricated on a first wafer, including coplanar electrical contacts for p-type and n-type semiconductors of the LED structures on the flat bonding interface surfaces of the wafer. At least the coplanar electrical contacts of the flat bonding interface are direct-bonded to electrical contacts of CMOS driver circuits on a second wafer.

  • Publication number: 20250037797
Abstract: Systems and method for identifying gene fusions can obtain sequencing information for a plurality of amplicons from a nucleic acid sample. The sequencing information can include a plurality of reads that are initially partially mapped to a reference sequence. Fragments may be generated by splitting the partially mapped reads into mapped and unmapped fragments, and the fragments may be remapped to the reference sequence. Gene fusions can be identified based on reads where the first fragment maps to a first gene and the second fragment maps to a second gene.

  • Publication number: 20250036535
Abstract: Snapshot-based disaster recovery (DR) orchestration systems and methods for virtual machine (VM) failover and failback do not require that VMs or their corresponding datastores be actively operating at the DR site before a DR orchestration job is initiated, i.e., before failover. An illustrative data storage management system deploys proprietary components at source data center(s) and at DR site(s). The proprietary components (e.g., storage manager, data agents, media agents, backup nodes, etc.) interoperate with each other and with the source and DR components to ensure that VMs will successfully failover and/or failback. DR orchestration jobs are suitable for testing VM failover scenarios (“clone testing”), for conducting planned VM failovers, and for unplanned VM failovers. DR orchestration jobs also handle failback and integration of DR-generated data into the failback site, including restoring VMs that never failed over to fully re-populate the source/failback site.

  • Patent number: 12210913
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for the chained execution of a set of code in an on-demand network code execution system. A user may provide a set of code for execution in the on-demand network code execution system and the system may determine that the set of code comprises multiple chained tasks. The system may provide the set of code to a first virtual machine instance for execution of a first task. The system may obtain an indication that the first task has been executed. The results of the execution of the first task may be sent to a second virtual machine instance, via a push or pull, for execution of a second task. Based on identifying that the first task has been executed, the system may instruct the second virtual machine instance to execute the second task.

  • Patent number: 12210115
Abstract: A frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar antenna that may provide isolation between the transmit (Tx) antenna and the receive (Rx) antenna based on the arrangement of the transmit elements and the receive elements. The transmit antenna elements for the antenna of this disclosure may be orthogonally fed, e.g., different by 90 degrees, compared to the receive antenna elements. For example, for horizontally polarized receive antenna elements, the transmit elements may be vertically polarized, or vice versa. The cross-polarized antenna elements may cause attenuation of surface waves between the Tx and Rx antennae. A low insertion loss 90-degree polarizer layer over one of the transmitter antenna, or the receiver antenna, to convert either the transmitted signals or the received reflections by 90-degrees so the reflected signal matches the polarization of the receiver antenna.
