  • Patent number: 10078695
Abstract: Methods and system for managing media clips over a data network. Media streams may be received over a data network and stored by a storage server. Metadata regarding the media streams may be generated and stored at a metadata server. A control station can retrieve media frames originating in the stored media streams from the storage server, based on metadata. • Publication number: 20180206727
Abstract: Currently most cancers, including breast cancers, are removed without any intraoperative margin control. Post-operative methods inspect 1-2% of the surgical margin and are prone to sampling errors. The present invention relates to an optical imaging system that will enable evaluation of the surgical margin in vivo and in real-time. The invention provides for simultaneous fluorescence and fluorescence polarization imaging. The contrast of the acquired images will be enhanced using fluorescent agents approved for diagnostic use in patients. As the staining pattern of fluorescence images is similar to that of histology, and the values of fluorescence polarization are significantly higher in cancerous as compared to normal cells, the invention provides for further improvements in diagnostic methods. The systems and methods can be applied to the intra-operative delineation of cancerous tissue.

  • Patent number: 10019593
Abstract: A digital targeting system is configured to access data to determine users that satisfy content factors, such as pre-validation criteria, based on user information stored in a database having restrictions on sharing of user data, such as government regulations on sharing of the user information. The digital targeting system may then generate a pre-validated user ID list indicating those users that match the content factors. Users on the pre-validated user ID list may then be matched to users in other databases, such as a digital ID database, to identify digital IDs for the users that are usable by a digital display entity.

  • Publication number: 20180077444
Abstract: Various embodiments are described herein for systems and methods that can be used to operate a media transmission network. In at least one embodiment, the media transmission network comprises a plurality of media processing devices configured to receive and process media streams based on control data. The media transmission network also comprises a controller coupled to the plurality of media processing devices and configured to generate a control signal for some or all of the media processing devices in the network. The controller is configured to determine the timing at which to transmit the control signal to a respective media processing device in order for the instructions in the control signal to be executed at the same time as the media data is received. The controller determines the transmission timing of each control signal by determining the latencies and delays of the network and the devices, such as, for example, network latency, processing delay, and/or control delay.

  • Publication number: 20180023212
Abstract: Preparation of semiconductor nanocrystals and their dispersions in solvents and other media is described. The nanocrystals described herein have small (1-10 nm) particle size with minimal aggregation and can be synthesized with high yield. The capping agents on the as-synthesized nanocrystals as well as nanocrystals which have undergone cap exchange reactions result in the formation of stable suspensions in polar and nonpolar solvents which may then result in the formation of high quality nanocomposite films.

  • Publication number: 20170229135
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting audio levels in a plurality of audio signals are disclosed. One or more input signals containing one or more audio signals are depacketized. The audio signals are analyzed to determine if audio levels of the signals correspond to a desired audio level for at least some of the signals. The audio levels of signals that do not correspond are adjusted. Packets that do not require adjustment and the resulting adjusted packets are combined to form one or more output signals corresponding to the one or more input signals.

  • Publication number: 20170155529
Abstract: A programmable logic device (“PLD”) is augmented with programmable clock data recover (“CDR”) circuitry to allow the PLD to communicate via any of a large number of CDR signaling protocols. The CDR circuitry may be integrated with the PLD, or it may be wholly or partly on a separate integrated circuit. The circuitry may be capable of CDR input, CDR output, or both. The CDR capability may be provided in combination with other non-CDR signaling capability such as non-CDR low voltage differential signaling (“LVDS”). The circuitry may be part of a larger system.
