  • Publication number: 20090165017
Abstract: A system and method for the delivery of a portion of a library of data to an end user. The system includes a plurality of data servers and at least one gateway server operatively connected to the end user. When the gateway server receives request from the end user for delivery of at least a portion of the library of data, the gateway server selects one of the plurality of data servers using a stateless addressing method and transmits instructions to the end user which enable the end user to issue a second request to the selected data servers for delivery the data to the end user. When the selected data server receives the second request, the server transmits the requested data to the end user.

  • Publication number: 20080301917
Abstract: A safety hook includes a hook and a latch. The hook may be a twisted hook with a hooked portion twisted 90 degrees from a strap loop, or a flat “S” hook with the hooked portion and the strap loop in a single plane. The latch includes a full circle latch ring and a latch arm. The latch arm extends across a mouth opening of the hooked portion and is biased to prevent the hooked portion from disengaging from a wheel chair or other attachment point without forcing the latch arm away from the mouth. The latch ring resides against the strap loop and is held in place by grasps, fingers, lips, or the like which reach past center around a cross-section of the strap loop, or by molding-in-place over the strap loop, and by a strap attached around strap loop and the latch ring.

  • Publication number: 20070146104
Abstract: As the static magnetic field used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (“MRI”) instruments increases the resonance frequency also increases. Consequently, the signal lost due to the coil becomes an issue. To compensate for this loss, it is possible to use an active device, such as a diode, a transistor, etc., with the radio frequency coil, MRI arrangement and method according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention to generate negative resistance to cancel the coil loss resistance. In this manner, the efficiency of the RF coil at high frequency can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6306772
Abstract: A method to fabricate bottle-shaped deep trench into a semiconductor substrate. After a neck profile is formed, the chlorine gas at a predetermined flow rate is added to the etching plasma gas composition, while the flow rates of the plasma gases are increased by about 30% by volume, to create an enlarged lower portion of the deep trench. Preferably, the neck portion is etched using an etching composition which contains HBr, NF3, and (He/O2) provided at flow rates of about 87:13:35 sccm. The enlarged lower portion is etched using an etching composition which contains HBr, NF3, and (He/O2) provided at flow rates of about 113±12:17±2:46±5 sccm, and Cl2 provided at a flow rate between 10 and 40 sccm. It was found that the width of the lower portion of the deep trench can be increased by 100% with minimum side effects such as polymer deposition in the plasma chamber, which could occur as result of substantially increased flow rate of HBr and/or NF3.
