  • Publication number: 20210241440
Abstract: A simulator environment is disclosed. In embodiments, the simulator environment includes graphics generation (GG) processors in communication with one or more display devices. Deep learning neural networks running on the GG processors are configured for run-time generation of photorealistic, geotypical content for display. The DL networks are trained on, and use as input, a combination of image-based input (e.g., imagery relevant to a particular geographical area) and a selection of geo-specific data sources that illustrate specific characteristics of the geographical area. Output images generated by the DL networks include additional data channels corresponding to these geo-specific data characteristics, so the generated images include geotypical representations of land use, elevation, vegetation, and other such characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11074206
Abstract: The present disclosure advantageously provides a method and system for transferring data over at least one interconnect. A request node, coupled to an interconnect, receives a first write burst from a first device over a first connection, divides the first write burst into an ordered sequence of smaller write requests based on the size of the first write burst, and sends the ordered sequence of write requests to a home node coupled to the interconnect. The home node generates an ordered sequence of write transactions based on the ordered sequence of write requests, and sends the ordered sequence of write transactions to a write combiner coupled to the home node. The write combiner combines the ordered sequence of write transactions into a second write burst that is the same size as the first write burst, and sends the second write burst to a second device over a second connection.

  • Publication number: 20210223284
Abstract: An angular acceleration sensor includes a curved track having first and second metallic layers, and a spherical conductive ball provided within the track. The first metallic layer has a constant, uniform, width along a length of the track while the second metallic layer has a varying-width along the length of the track. An angular acceleration experienced by the spherical conductive ball is associated with a change in a capacitance between the spherical conductive ball and the curved track, which is uniquely associated with an external linear acceleration experienced by the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20210224178
Abstract: In one embodiment, information (workload, performance, and configuration) is obtained about identified sub-systems (a target component plus other components that influence its performance). The identified sub-systems are clustered into workload clusters and also into performance clusters, where identified sub-systems of particular workload clusters have similar workload measurements, and identified sub-systems of particular performance clusters have similar performance metrics. The techniques herein then determine a given mapped performance cluster for a given workload cluster that corresponds to a best set of performance metrics from among all performance clusters mapped to the given workload cluster.

  • Patent number: 11063857
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of monitoring connectivity and latency of network links in virtual networks. For instance, a ping agent injects first ping packets into network traffic on behalf of hosts in the virtual network. The ping agent monitors incoming packets to identify first ping response packets, which are in response to the first ping packets, among the incoming packets. A ping responder rule that is included in inbound packet filter rules for a port in a virtual switch intercepts second ping packets in the network traffic. The ping responder rule converts the second ping packets into second ping response packets and injects the second ping response packets into outbound packet filter rules to be transferred to sources from which the second ping packets are received.
