  • Publication number: 20210050423
Abstract: Solid assemblies having a composite dielectric spacer and processes for fabricating the solid assemblies are provided. The composite dielectric spacer can include, in some embodiments, a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer having a mutual interface. The composite dielectric spacer can separate a contact member from a conductive interconnect member, thus reducing the capacitance between such members with respect to solid assemblies that include one of first dielectric layer or the second dielectric layer. The composite dielectric spacer can permit maintaining the real estate of an interface between the conductive interconnect and a trench contact member that has an interface with a carrier-doped epitaxial layer embodying or constituting a source contact region or a drain contact region of a field effect transistor. The trench contact member can form another interface with the conductive interconnect member, providing a satisfactory contact resistance therebetween.

  • Patent number: 10915475
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for management of a flash translation layer (FTL) for a non-volatile memory (NVM) in a Solid State Drive (SSD). The methods and apparatus provide a logical to physical (L2P) table where a first portion of the table is used for mapping frequently accessed hot data to a first subdrive in the NVM. Additionally, a second portion of the L2P table is provided for mapping cold data less frequently accessed than the hot data to a second subdrive, where logical blocks for storing the cold data in the second subdrive are larger than logical blocks storing the hot data in the first subdrive. Separation of the L2P table into hot and cold subdrives reduces the L2P table size that is needed in RAM for logical to physical memory mapping, while at the same time provides lower write amplification and latencies, especially for large capacity SSDs.

  • Patent number: 10915417
Abstract: First audit information corresponding to a first set of log entries associated with a transformation performed on first data is obtained, where the first audit information includes a first commutative result produced by applying a commutative function to object identifiers associated with the first set of log entries. Second audit information corresponding to a second set of log entries associated with the transformation performed on second data is obtained, with the second data being a different representation of the first data and where the second audit information includes a second commutative result produced by applying the commutative function to object identifiers associated with the second set of log entries. The first commutative result is compared with the second commutative result to validate whether the second data matches the first data. One or more actions are performed depending on whether the second data is the successful transformation of the first data.

  • Patent number: 10911406
Abstract: Techniques for allowing access to shared cloud resource using private network addresses are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a connection packet representing a connection request to a shared cloud resource in the cloud computing system can be intercepted. In response, the connection packet can be encapsulated with data representing one or more of a VNET ID, a VNET source address, or a VNET destination address of a virtual network from which the connection packet is received. The encapsulated connection packet can then be forwarded to the shared cloud resource while retaining the data representing one or more of the VNET ID, the VNET source address, or the VNET destination address for access control at the shared cloud resource.

  • Patent number: 10904123
Abstract: A route tracing request packet is generated comprising a time-to-live value, a source address of a source of the route tracing request packet, and an address of a destination of the route tracing request packet. The source and destination are in the virtual network; the route tracing request packet is usable to identify the virtual appliance, and the virtual appliance is configured to examine the route tracing request packet for a time-to-live value indicating that the route tracing request packet has expired and sending a time-to-live exceeded message to the source address. The time-to-live exceeded message comprises an identifier for the virtual appliance. The route tracing request packet is forwarded to the destination. The time-to-live exceeded message is received. Data is extracted to determine network virtual appliances that were traversed by the route tracing request packet prior to expiration of the time-to-live. The network virtual appliances are reported.

  • Publication number: 20210019131
Abstract: A data center network can include numerous switches, routers and servers to deliver services to customers. The network devices in the data center may be automatically discovered through various discovery workflows. Once discovered, hardware configuration information for the network devices may be stored in a database. Additionally, an administrator may assign roles to the network devices. The hardware configuration information may be matched with features provided by software images. A server may select a software image from a variety of candidate software images by matching the features provided by the software images and the hardware supported by the software images to the hardware configurations and roles of the network devices. Thus, new network devices may be deployed and provisioned to data center in a standardized and automated way. Further, existing network devices may be upgraded or reconfigured in a standardized and automated way.

  • Publication number: 20210019125
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for synthesizing computer-readable code based on the receipt of input and output examples. A computing system in accordance with the disclosure can be configured to receive a given input and output, access and library of operations, and perform a search of a library of operations (e.g., transpose, slice, norm, etc.) that can be applied to the input. By applying the operations to the input and tracking the results, the computing system may identify an expression comprising one or a combination of operations that when applied to the input generates the output. In this manner, implementations of the disclosure may be used to identify one or more solutions that a user having access to the library of operations may use to generate the output from the input.
