Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating access to multiple data stores substantially in real-time are disclosed. The system may include a server coupled to a network, a client device in communication with the server via the network and a plurality of data stores. The server may authenticate access to the data stores and forward information from those stores to the client device. An exemplary authentication method may include receipt of a request for access to data. Information concerning access to that data is stored and associated with an identifier assigned to a client device. If the identifier is found to correspond to the stored information during a future request for access to the store, access to that store is granted.

Abstract: A temporary upright post includes rail supports for holding temporary lateral guardrails and a mounting system for mounting to a permanent upright stanchion of a permanent railing system for an elevated surface. The mounting system includes a longitudinal bore in the lower portion of the upright post that removably receives the stanchion with a loose fit, and the mechanical securement tightens the post to the stanchion to secure them together for use and loosens to release the post for installation and removal. Example embodiments also include a support bearing that is repositionable to contact and support the post in an elevated position on the stanchion, up and away from the elevated surface, or to disengage from mechanical interference with the stanchion so the post can be lowered to the use position.

Abstract: A head mounted display assembly is provided. The head mounted display assembly comprises a head supported structural frame to support a display viewable by a user of the assembly, the structural frame including upper and lower surfaces. The assembly comprises a mounting interface on the lower surface of the structural frame, the mounting interface for releasably coupling an accessory device to the assembly. The mounting interface comprises a magnetic portion for attracting an opposing magnetic portion of the accessory device upon alignment of the accessory device with the mounting interface, and for repelling the magnetic portion of the accessory device upon misalignment of the accessory device with the mounting interface, and a communication interface for communicating data with the accessory device.

Abstract: A wearable apparatus for sensing movement of a wearer's body is disclosed. The wearable apparatus comprises a flexible substrate for conforming about the wearer's body, and a capacitive sensor attached to the flexible substrate, the capacitive sensor comprising a transmitter electrode and a receiver electrode arranged in opposition on opposite sides of the flexible substrate, the transmitter electrode being arranged to capacitively couple to the receiver electrode.

Abstract: A tonneau cover for at least partially covering a cargo area of a vehicle, the cargo area having a pair of opposing side walls, a front wall, and a tailgate, the tonneau cover including: a first panel configured to be arranged adjacent to the front wall; a second panel adjacent to the first panel and rearward of the first panel, the second panel configured to be folded relative to the first panel to move the tonneau cover between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The first panel comprises a first panel section and a second panel section, and the first panel section is arranged at an incline relative to the second panel section.

Abstract: A harvesting system includes at least one modular unit coupled to a harvester includes a drying unit to dry a harvested material introduced into the harvester including at least one rotating drum, a number of appendages extending from the at least one rotating drum, at least one sensor to determine at least one environmental state within the drying unit, and at least one environmental state adjustment device to adjust at least one environmental attribute within the drying unit. The modular unit also includes a collection unit to collect the harvested material into a unit, a first conveyor mechanism to convey the harvested material from the drying unit to the collection unit, and a control system to control at least the harvester, the drying unit, the collection unit, the first conveyor mechanism, the sensor, and the environmental state adjustment device based on a signal received from the at least one sensor.

Abstract: A fluid handling system for a surgical procedure includes a console and a tubing set. The console exhibits a peristaltic pump, a pinch valve, one above the other. Two recessed seats are located to the left and right sides of the pump and valve. The tubing set includes an irrigation tube and an aspiration tube each coupled to a pair of magnetic disks disposable in respective ones of the recessed seats. Upon such disposition, the irrigation tube is disposable in operative engagement with the peristaltic pump and the aspiration tube is insertable into a slot of the pinch valve.

Abstract: Files can be located using a durable and universal file identifier. A content URI includes a file protocol URI specifying a path to a file. The file protocol URI includes a query string specifying properties of the file that can be utilized to locate the file, such as an object ID property specifying a GUID for the file and a volume ID property specifying a GUID for a storage volume storing the file. The content URI can be utilized to locate the file using the file protocol URI and its associated query string even if the file has been moved, renamed, or is accessed on a different computing device. Operations can then be performed using the file, such as resuming a previously performed activity that used the file.

In particular, pesticide compositions comprising one or more pesticide volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are disclosed, wherein the pesticide is for Drosophila spp. and the one or more pesticide VOCs have the molecular formula CaHbOc wherein: a is between 4 and 13; b is 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24; c is 1 or 2. The VOCs are linear, branched or cyclic alkanes or alkenes, and comprise a single ketone, aldehyde, alcohol or ester functionality, and wherein any cyclic alkane or alkene is selected from the group consisting of cyclohexane, cyclopentane, cyclopentene and cyclopentadiene.
