Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods and non-transitory computer-readable media for performing speech recognition across different applications or environments without model customization or prior knowledge of the domain of the received speech. The disclosure includes recognizing received speech with a collection of domain-specific speech recognizers, determining a speech recognition confidence for each of the speech recognition outputs, selecting speech recognition candidates based on a respective speech recognition confidence for each speech recognition output, and combining selected speech recognition candidates to generate text based on the combination.

Abstract: A wellhead system for producing hydrocarbons from a subterranean formation that includes concentric tubulars that form an annulus. The annulus is vented by flowing fluid from the annulus through a bleed line having a valve that is selectively opened and closed. Upstream of the bleed line valve, the bleed line is routed adjacent a production flow line. The temperature of the fluid in the production flow line is greater than annulus temperature and warms the bleed line. Hydrate formation in the bleed line is thereby inhibited by the thermal energy it receives from the production flow line.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a system that includes a detection device and a processor. The detection device is configured to sense that a handheld device has not been placed on or near a surface. In response to sensing that the handheld device has not been placed on or near a surface, the detection device is configured to transmit an indicator to the processor. The processor is configured to receive a first audio signal, and determine that the handheld device has not been placed on or near a surface by receiving the indicator from the detection device. In response to determining that the handheld device has not been placed on or near a surface, the processor is further configured to apply a compensating function to the first audio signal to generate a second audio signal, and transmit the second audio signal to a speaker.

Abstract: Embodiments relate generally to devices and methods for analyzing trip information and providing suggestions and information to a user based on the analysis involving the head unit of a vehicle. Analysis may comprise creating a user profile based on activity of a user of the vehicle, wherein the user may be identified by connection with a mobile device associated with the user. The user profile may then be used to determine suggestions or warnings for a user based on current trip information. Analysis may also comprise receiving weather and/or traffic information corresponding to the trip information and determining suggestions or warning for a user based on the effects of the weather and/or traffic.

Abstract: A downhole control system can include a pair of drive lines passing through a wellbore member such as a tubing hanger, and a plurality of hydraulic switches, each in communication with the drive lines. Each hydraulic switch can have a unique pressure band, wherein the switch only responds when the pressure in the drive lines is within the unique pressure band. Once the pressure in the drive lines is within the pressure band, the switch can open or close in response to a pressure differential in the drive lines.

Abstract: A system for injecting fluids into a well having a fluid supply tine that is connected to a mandrel at the top of the production tree. The system is designed so that all components of the system are packaged together and run to the production tree in one run. The production tree is designed to provide a pathway for the fluid to travel from the mandrel to the production bore within the tree, and then into the production tubing of a well.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus are described for providing an online shopping experience to a consumer who is shopping at a merchant's physical retail location. In an embodiment, a method includes a providing a consumer shopping experience website to obtain at least one of consumer registration data, consumer mobile device data, a consumer shopping list, merchant registration data, and merchant inventory data. In an implementation, a mobile shopping application is provided on a consumer's mobile device operable to provide information such as merchant store locations, merchant inventory, in-store product location data, product review information, and shopping cart information. The method includes receiving a request for shopping information, generating the requested shopping information, and transmitting the shopping information to the consumer mobile device in real time, while the consumer is in a merchant's store.

Abstract: A lighting controller provides a user interface module and a lighting controller engine. The user interface module allows a user to specify settings for one or more lighting fixtures using descriptive, absolute or relative values, which the lighting controller engine translates into fixture-dependent values before sending them to the lighting fixtures. The user interface module also provides context-based displays and context-based controls.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for generating item ratings for a user in order to allow for recommendations of selected items for that user. A set of known ratings of different items for a plurality of users is collected and maintained, and these known ratings are used to estimate rating factors influencing ratings, including user and item factors. Initial user and item factors are estimated and new user and item factors are successively added, with the original rating factors being progressively shrunk so as to reduce their magnitude and their contribution to the rating estimation as successive factors are added. When an appropriate number of user and item factors has been estimated, the rating factors are used to estimate ratings of items for a user, and the estimated ratings are employed to generate recommendations for that user.

Abstract: A method and system for producing fluid from a subsea wellbore. An amount of fluid is sampled from fluid being produced and retained for a period of time until constituents in the fluid stratify. A fluid characteristic is sensed at spaced apart vertical locations in the sampled fluid. A water fraction as well as gas content can be ascertained from sensing the sampled fluid. The fluid characteristic is used for calibrating a multi-phase flowmeter that measures flow of the fluid being produced from the wellbore.

Abstract: A subsea wellhead assembly having a tubing hanger set in a tubing hanger spool and a ring with axial passages set in an upper end of the tubing hanger. The wellhead assembly includes a production tree that lands on the tubing hanger spool. Tubing extends from the axial passages in the ring through axial bores provided in a sidewall of the tubing hanger. When landed, a lower end of the production tree engages an upper surface of the ring causing the ring to rotate and align its axial passages with axial passages in the production tree. The respective lower and upper surfaces of the tree and ring are strategically castellated to orient the passages.

Abstract: A running tool for use in handling control modules on a subsea production tree. The running tool is deployable on wire line and includes a column like body and a connector adapted for connection to the production tree. The running tool also includes a hoist system that is selectively positioned by a swiveling jib crane for handling the control modules. A replacement control module can be included with the running tool when the tool is deployed from above the sea surface. After the running tool connects to the production tree, the jib crane can position the hoist for attachment to and removal of an existing control module on the production tree. The hoist can then to attach to and install the replacement control module and can be further manipulated to retrieve the existing control module and stow it onto the body.

Abstract: The projected power consumption for an application program running on a future IHS is determined by generating a power proxy for the application program, and power proxies for a plurality of standard benchmarks. An algorithm correlates the power proxy for the application program, and the power proxies for the standard benchmarks to generate weighted surrogates that are combined with power proxies derived from running the benchmark surrogates on the future IHS to generate the projected power consumption.
