Abstract: An opto-coupler interface is provided. The opto-coupler interface includes a current mirror and a resistor. The opto-coupler interface is arranged such that a relatively fixed voltage is provided across the photodetector. At one end of the photodetector, the voltage is relatively fixed because the photodetector is coupled to the input of a current mirror. Because the voltage across the opto-coupler is relative fixed, the opto-coupler interface is a current interface rather than a voltage interface. Current from the photodetector is mirrored by the current mirror to provide an output mirror current. The output mirror current is provided to a resistor such that the resistor provides a voltage that is based on the output mirror current.

Abstract: A minimum frequency synchronization discriminator for use in providing a clock signal for a switch mode power supply automatically detects when the frequency of a sync signal is above a minimum frequency and causes the sync signal to serve as the clock signal for the controller. If the frequency of the sync signal is below the minimum frequency, the minimum synchronization frequency discriminator causes the output signal of the internal oscillator to serve as the clock signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method and system for sending a session key file encryption key for use in the secure transmission of an encrypted media stream across a network. A logging node receives a double encrypted session key file encryption key. The session key file encryption key is used to encrypt session keys, which in turn can be used to decrypt the encrypted media stream. The logging node decrypts the session key file encryption key. Thereafter, the logging node sends the session key file encryption key to a reviewing node for use in secure transmission of the encrypted media stream.

Some embodiments provide systems, software, and methods of handling data access requests for data items having values stored in multiple instances across one or more data sources. Some embodiments provide a data manager to service access requests for a data item, wherein the data manager services the data access requests for the data item with data from an authoritative instance or from one of one or more secondary instances. In some embodiments, the data manager services the request for the data item according to a data model. A security policy enables security devices and asymmetric security devices to forward ICE messages. A management device stores information about an initial message. Later, a security device receives an ICE message and sends and authorization request to the management device. The management device compares information in the authorization request to information in memory. According to the comparison, the management device authorizes the security device to forward the ICE message.

Abstract: A method of handling a stuck bit in a directory of a cache memory, by defining multiple binary encodings to indicate a defective cache state, detecting an error in a tag stored in a member of the directory (wherein the tag at least includes an address field, a state field and an error-correction field), determining that the error is associated with a stuck bit of the directory member, and writing new state information to the directory member which is selected from one of the binary encodings based on a field location of the stuck bit within the directory member. The multiple binary encodings may include a first binary encoding when the stuck bit is in the address field, a second binary encoding when the stuck bit is in the state field, and a third binary encoding when the stuck bit is in the error-correction field. Abstract: A method of handling a stuck bit in a directory of a cache memory which detects an error in a stored tag having an address field, a state field and an error-correction field, determines that the error is associated with a stuck bit of the directory member, marks the directory member as defective, and casts out corrected address information. The error is detected during processing of a cache directory access request, and is determined to be associated with a stuck bit of the directory member by attempting to correct a first error and then detecting a second error after the first correction attempt. The fiber reinforced cementitious material includes (i) cement, (ii) optionally, sand, aggregate, or sand and aggregate, and (iii) chemically treated fibers having a polyvalent cation content of from about 0.1 weight percent to about 5.0 weight percent based on the dry weight of the treated fibers. Abstract: A powerability condition of a computer network, such as the existence of a remotely powerable device attached to a connecting medium of the computer network, is discovered. Such detection can then control whether a remote power source (e.g., a data communications device such as a switch) provides remote power (e.g., phantom power) to the computer network. Apparatus for discovering a powerability condition of a computer network includes a signal generator, a detector and a controller which is coupled to the signal generator and the detector. The controller configures the signal generator to provide a test signal to a connecting medium of the computer network, and configures the detector to measure a response signal from the connecting medium of the computer network. The controller then indicates whether a remotely powerable device connects to the connecting medium of the computer network based on the response signal.

The invention relates to a composition containing a variety of antioxidants, vitamins, and herbal ingredients. The present invention further relates to a method of administering a therapeutically effective amount of the composition ingredients to protect the skin against the effects of UV irradiation.
