  • Patent number: 9416693
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for an oil pump mounting structure that provides accessibility and removal of the oil pump without removing a balancer shaft. While periodically servicing or replacing the oil pump may be necessary throughout the lifetime of an engine, it is desirable to allow for easy removal of the oil pump without removing and reassembling other engine components. To provide alignment and a rigid connection between the oil pump and engine frame while allowing for removal of the oil pump without removing other components, dowel bolts with unthreaded, threaded, and dowel portions are used to mount the oil pump to the engine frame.

  • Publication number: 20160171124
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are used for three-dimensional models for three-dimensional makers to indicate engineering requirements. In an example, operations may be effectuated that include displaying a graphical user interface including an object in a three-dimensional (3D) space and receiving first data that includes a link between a flag and a component of the object. The flag may be indicative of an engineering requirement associated with the component of the object. The flag in the 3D space approximate to the component of the object may be displayed based on the received data.

  • Patent number: 9236209
Abstract: A relay fault detection and correction system includes a signal detector structured to measure primary and secondary signals, and generates a fault output signal if the signals appear to be unterminated due to a relay not connecting the signals to the loads. A cycle circuit is structured to cause a relay controller to cycle a potentially under-performing relay between its states a number of times after the signal detector generates the fault output.

  • Publication number: 20150371329
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a graphical representation for and displaying order performance metrics for one or more user orders of one or more market instruments. A graphical representation of the order performance metrics can be aligned with a graphical representation of market data relating to prices and volume of user orders, market orders, user order executions, and market trades. The order performance metrics can be displayed as one or more performance bars or ribbons divided into segments, which can be assigned a color based on a user order's performance with respect to a market benchmark. The graphical representations can be displayed using a display device.

  • Patent number: 9132876
Abstract: A motorcycle foot peg (10) constructed to help isolate a rider from vibration and impact forces normally transmitted through a solid foot peg. The isolating foot peg is applicable for on and off road use where prolonged vibration or discrete impacts may cause injury. The foot peg has an adaptable rigid mounting platform (11) from which a rigid foot peg supporting shaft (19) projects outward in a cantilevered fashion. The supporting shaft is inserted through an internal aperture (34) and secured to an internal rigid tube (29) of a bushing (27). The bushing filled with a vibration isolating material (32) externally is secured to a receiver (23), which is incorporated into a foot peg platform (22). The foot peg platform (22) is thereby isolated from the supporting shaft (19) and motorcycle frame (12) by vibration damping material (32) with in the bushing (27). This relationship allows for reduction of vibratory forces that would normally be transmitted to the rider through a conventional solid Foot peg platform.

  • Publication number: 20150231441
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a shaft provides secure frictional engagement to the shaft while manually operable to be removed from the shaft. There is a first cylinder allowable to slide freely on the shaft. One or more holes retaining one or more balls allow a projection of the balls into an interior of the first cylinder. A tensioning ring (second cylinder) partially overlaps the first cylinder, retains the balls within the holes, and has at least a portion of the inside diameter increasing in diameter. A biasing mechanism acts against the second cylinder to urge the balls into the first cylinder interior to frictionally engage the shaft. Two release mechanisms movable with the biasing mechanism manually actuated against the bias move the second cylinder to allow the balls to freely move within the holes and the locking mechanism to be slid onto and removed from the shaft.
