Abstract: A machine receives, from a first client device, a first request for provision of data that is specified by the first request. The machine creates a datastream that contains the data and initiates provision of the datastream to the first client device. The machine creates a marker file that corresponds to the first request, and existence of the marker file indicates that the provision of the datastream to the first client device is incomplete. While the marker file exists, if the machine receives, from a second client device, a second request for provision of the same data, the machine caches the now twice-requested data in a data cache, and the machine may provide the data from the data cache to the second client device. This can avoid one or more retrieval operations or other preparations for providing the data to the second client device.

Abstract: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a system having a controller to present an overlay combined with a presentation of media content at each of a plurality of computing devices on an electronic communications network to illustrate a collection of one or more commentaries temporally associated with portions of the presented media content where the portions of the presented media content comprises portions of a teleconference workflow meeting, to collect one or more commentaries from each of the plurality of computing devices, and to present the commentaries from the plurality of computing devices. Embodiments include receiving product data and comparing the product data to a set of predefined trigger parameters. If it is determined that the product data satisfies one or more of the trigger parameters, a dynamic message is generated. In certain embodiments, the content of the dynamic message is based, at least in part, on the product data. The generated dynamic message is then automatically transmitted to a set of recipients over the social networking platform.

Abstract: A pressing device includes a pressing device switch configured to cover a garage door switch. The garage door switch operates a garage door opener connected to the garage door switch. An actuator is coupled to the pressing device switch. An indicator outputs a combination of an audio and video signal. The pressing device receives a garage door control command and generates a warning signal to the indicator. The indicator outputs the combination of the audio and video signal in response to receiving the warning signal, and generates a trigger signal to the actuator. The actuator physically presses on the garage door switch in response to receiving the trigger signal.
