  • Patent number: 12295082
Abstract: A system and methods are provided for an immersive group lighting interaction. A lighting infrastructure includes a plurality of independently controllable lighting devices. According to an embodiment, users may be granted access to control at least a portion of the lighting infrastructure. Rather than requiring the user to manually control the lighting infrastructure using, for example, the touch screen, a sensor associated with the user's mobile device may track the user. The sensor data may be classified and then mapped to a corresponding control instruction to control the lighting infrastructure. In another embodiment, a computing system receives sensor classifications from multiple users. If a threshold amount of a type of classification is received, the computing system controls a lighting infrastructure according to that type of classification.

  • Publication number: 20250095098
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to graphics processor that support ray tracing. In particular, shader circuitry may be configured to adjust a scheduling priority of a single-instruction multiple-data (SIMD) group of a shader program based on a hint that the SIMD group has an upcoming ray intersect command for ray intersect accelerator circuitry and based on a resource usage indication from the ray intersect accelerator circuitry. This may advantageously reduce cache thrashing, e.g., when shaders may allocate memory for ray intersect commands and fill a shared cache faster than the ray intersect accelerator circuitry can process the rays.

  • Publication number: 20250093936
Abstract: A system include multiple components configured to operate in different modes with different power supply loads. Control circuitry may determine a first voltage margin to be included in a power supply voltage magnitude requested for the components based on current operating modes of the multiple components and detect that a first component of the multiple components has changed its operating mode. In response to the detection, the control circuitry may modify at least one parameter of the following parameters to recover a portion of the first voltage margin: a power supply voltage magnitude and an operating frequency of at least a portion of the system. A magnitude of the modification may be based on an estimated difference between a first amount of dynamic power supply voltage loss before the change in operating mode and a second amount of dynamic power supply voltage loss after the change in operating mode.

  • Patent number: 12235703
Abstract: An integrated circuit may include multiple instances of a component (e.g. a processor) and a control circuit. The instances may be configured to operate in various modes. Some of the modes are incapable of presenting a worst-case load on the power supply. The control circuit may be configured to monitor the instances and detect the modes in which the instances are operating. Based on the monitoring, the control circuit may request to recover a portion of the voltage margin established for worst-case conditions in the instances.

  • Publication number: 20250013464
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with adaptive code scanning are described. In one example method, a valid configuration that specifies approved parameters of use for a software component is defined. Software code is scanned to detect that the software component exists in the software code. Where the component is detected, the software code is scanned to identify implemented parameters of use for the software component. The implemented parameters are compared to the approved parameters. Based on the comparison, the software component is determined to be not implemented according to the valid configuration. Where the software component is implemented according to the valid configuration, the method automatically determines to proceed with the automated action based on the implemented parameters. The automated action is performed to adapt to the implemented parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240406124
Abstract: A computer implemented method for generating a response to a received electronic message. A generative AI is prompted to analyse the electronic message and to generate intent data indicative of an intent associated with the electronic message and data-identifier data indicative of one or more predetermined data identifiers present in the electronic message. Abstract: A system and computer implemented method for generating validated prompt-templates for generating prompts for instructing large language models (LLMs) to perform specific tasks. An initial prompt is generated instructing an LLM to produce a plurality of candidate prompt-templates. The initial prompt includes an input data type to be included with a prompt generated using a candidate prompt-template, and output data to be produced by an LLM that has processed a prompt generated using a candidate prompt-template. The initial prompt is passed through an LLM to generate candidate prompt-templates. Test prompts are generated, each constructed from a candidate prompt-templates using input data from a set of pre-labelled input data having items of input data and corresponding labels. Each test prompt is passed through a further LLM to generate an output. The output is assessed, and candidate-prompt-templates are selected for subsequent generation of prompts.
