  • Patent number: 11994993
Abstract: An adaptive prefetcher for a shared system cache of a processing system including multiple requestors having a cache miss monitor and a prefetch controller. The cache miss monitor monitors requests for information from memory and identifies one of the requestors for which an identified cache line is requested. The prefetch controller submits an adaptive request for a subsequent cache line. The subsequent cache line may be determined based on a latency comparison between a loop latency (LL) of the prefetch controller and a stream latency (SL) of the identified requestor. A latency memory may be included that stores stream latencies for the requestors. The latency comparison may be used to determine how many cache lines to skip relative to the identified cache line, such as according to SL*SK<LL?SL*(SK+1) in which SK is the number of cache lines to skip.

  • Patent number: 11997334
Abstract: Techniques for dynamically determining a configuration file are described. In an example, a system receives, from a device, a request for first content to be presented by the device. The system determines metadata of the first content and a cue point indicating a start of a segment in which second content can be presented by the device. Based on the metadata and subsequent to the request, the system determines a configuration of the segment. The configuration includes: a duration of the segment, a sequence of slots in the segment, and/or a content duration usable in a slot of the segment. The system generates a configuration file that includes the metadata and the configuration, determines the second content based at least in part on the configuration file, and sends data about the first content and the second content to the device.

  • Patent number: 11989162
Abstract: The present invention provides for a system and a method for improved representation of classical data on quantum systems. Input classical data is received and a feature set is created from the classical data. A functional transformation is performed on the created feature set to reduce high dimensional data associated with the feature set and a low dimensional feature space dataset is generated. A feature space transformation is performed on the low-dimensional feature space dataset to obtain a new feature space dataset with enhanced feature representation of the low-dimensional feature space dataset in a multi-dimensional space. The new feature space dataset results in optimal mapping of the input classical data into a quantum format. The new feature space dataset is sampled and batches of the sampled dataset are selected. The sampled dataset is mapped into an optimized quantum format for loading the sampled dataset into quantum states.

  • Publication number: 20240143519
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to allocating bandwidth. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, respective amounts of bandwidth are allocated to respective application groups for each memory access cycle in a set of memory access cycles. Initial bonus bandwidth is provided to a first one of the application groups during one of the memory access cycles. The bonus bandwidth may include at least a portion of bandwidth allocated to and unused by one of the other respective application groups during the memory access cycle. Additional bonus bandwidth is selectively provided to the first application group during one of the memory access cycles based on the initial bonus bandwidth and a maximum amount of bonus bandwidth defined for the set of memory access cycles, in response to bandwidth allocated to one of the other respective application groups during the subsequent memory access cycle being unused.

Abstract: A trailer tow assist system including a camera that captures a rearward image of the trailer and its surroundings, a human machine interface that displays the rearward image, an input device that receives user input, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor receives the rearward image, identifies a target-space within the surroundings, determines a vehicle orientation relative to the target-space, determines a trailer angle relative to the vehicle, determines a trailer trajectory within the surroundings, and displays the trailer trajectory and rearward image on the human machine interface. The electronic processor also controls, in response to the user input, the vehicle to follow the trailer trajectory along a centerline of the trailer trajectory.

  • Patent number: 11886795
Abstract: A method for marking text in digital typography includes identifying one or more glyphs that intersect or overlap with a text marking bounding box, drawing a modified text marking to avoid intersecting with the one or more glyphs, and causing a display device to display the modified text marking with the text. The text marking is associated with a line of text including the glyphs or adjacent to a waxline of text including the glyphs. For each of the glyphs, the glyph corresponding to the glyph bounding box intersecting with the text marking is indicated. The modified text marking is drawn based on outlines of the glyphs, intersections between a text marking bounding box and the glyph outlines, and a user-specified glyph offset, text marking weight, and/or text marking offset to avoid intersecting with the glyphs. The shape of the modified text marking avoids intersecting with or overlapping the glyph.

  • Publication number: 20240020915
Abstract: Techniques include introducing a neural generator configured to produce novel faces that can be rendered at free camera viewpoints (e.g., at any angle with respect to the camera) and relit under an arbitrary high dynamic range (HDR) light map. A neural implicit intrinsic field takes a randomly sampled latent vector as input and produces as output per-point albedo, volume density, and reflectance properties for any queried 3D location. These outputs are aggregated via a volumetric rendering to produce low resolution albedo, diffuse shading, specular shading, and neural feature maps. The low resolution maps are then upsampled to produce high resolution maps and input into a neural renderer to produce relit images.

  • Publication number: 20240020891
Abstract: Jitter application techniques are described for vector objects as implemented by a vector object jitter application system. In an implementation, the vector object jitter application system receives an input defining a stroke to be drawn on a user interface. A vector object is then generated representing the stroke and having a variable width determined by applying jitter to the stroke. The vector object having the variable width is displayed in the user interface as the input is received.

  • Patent number: 11868693
Abstract: This application discloses a computing system implementing a design verification tool to perform functional verification on a circuit design describing an electronic device and collect samples of performance data during the functional verification. The computing system can also include a performance visualization tool to generate a profile presentation based on the samples of performance data. The profile presentation, when displayed, can annunciate portions of the circuit design corresponding to at least one performance hotspot. The performance visualization tool can receive a data reduction request based on the performance hotspot annunciated by the profile presentation. The data reduction request can identify a subset of the performance data in the profile presentation. The performance visualization tool can generate a refined profile presentation based, at least in part, on the samples of performance data and the subset of the performance data identified in the data reduction request.

  • Patent number: 11868523
Abstract: Techniques of tracking a user's gaze includes identifying a region of a display at which a gaze of a user is directed, the region including a plurality of pixels. By determining a region rather than a point, when the regions correspond to elements of a user interface, the improved technique enables a system to activate the element to which a determined region is selected. In some implementations, the system makes the determination using a classification engine including a convolutional neural network; such an engine takes as input images of the user's eye and outputs a list of probabilities that the gaze is directed to each of the regions.
