  • Patent number: 9357242
Abstract: A method and system for tracking of objects in a video is disclosed. The method of the present invention enables user to indicate a boundary-box to the identified object of interest in the broadcast video on television or any other communication media. The object indicted in the boundary-box is than tracked by the users connected in a social community network in the upcoming video frames of the broadcasted video. The tracked object is then tagged by the users in the social community network. Further, the present invention enables augmentation of the tracked object in the video by extracting additional information from the online service providers. The augmentation and tagging of the object generates metadata related to the object. The metadata generated is stored on a server to track the object in future based on the metadata related to the object.

  • Publication number: 20160042117
Abstract: Computer implemented techniques are disclosed for fixing signal hold-time violations in semiconductor chips. Analysis includes estimation of hold-time requirements using ideal clocks. Allocation of placement regions within the design and near the macro circuits allows for later placement and wiring use during layout hold-time fixing. The placement region sizes are based on estimates of the needed buffers. Nets, within the design for detail routing, are ordered such that nets with hold-time violations are wired later, thus fixing hold-time violations without scaling or adding further buffers. Hold times are re-evaluated once wiring of track routes is complete.

  • Patent number: 9233084
Abstract: A facile method to synthesize stable calcium carbonate microstructures is demonstrated which allows in situ encapsulation of sensitive molecules like drugs. The methodology involves a macromolecular assembly of anionic polypeptide with cationic peptide oligomer to concurrently template and hold to stabilize the mineralized structure. The heterogeneously distributed mixture of anionic and cationic residues in the macromolecular assembly, similar to that is found in natural systems assists in recognizing and coassembling Ca2+ and CO32? ionic clusters, especially for formation of a disordered precursor phase such as amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) and further crystallization to form a metastable vaterite phase. The assembly also facilitates encapsulation of a guest molecule such as tetracycline at ambient conditions without affecting the mineralization process.

  • Publication number: 20150253836
Abstract: In an embodiment, an integrated circuit includes multiple instances of a component (e.g. a processor) and a control circuit. The instances may be configured to operate in various modes. Some of the modes are incapable of presenting a worst-case load on the power supply. The control circuit may be configured to monitor the instances and detect the modes in which the instances are operating. Based on the monitoring, the control circuit may request to recover a portion of the voltage margin established for worst-case conditions in the instances. If the instances are to change modes, they may be configured to request mode change from the control circuit. If the mode change causes an increase in the current supply voltage magnitude (e.g. to restore some of the recovered voltage margin), the control circuit may cause the restore and permit it to complete prior to granting the mode change.

  • Patent number: 9119184
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system of transmitting a bearer resource request message from a UE over a plurality of relay node to a mobility management entity for setting up an EPS bearer in an LTE Network. In one embodiment this is accomplished by receiving the bearer resource request message at the MME_UE from the UE, wherein the bearer resource request message is corresponding to the UE's original bearer resource request, inspecting the received message by the MME_UE and thereby creating bearer resource request for the plurality of MME of relay nodes, wherein the MMEs are identified by the Relay Node IDs, broadcasting the bearer resource request to all MME_RN corresponding to the relay nodes by the MME_UE and collating the responses received from all the MME_RN's, such that UE's EPS bearer can be admitted and thereby forwarding the response as an S1-AP message towards UE and RNs.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for managing operational modes of a processor. The apparatus may include the processor which may include a coprocessor, an instruction queue, and a monitoring circuit for detecting instructions for the coprocessor in the instruction queue. The monitoring circuit may detect when the instruction queue holds no instructions for the coprocessor. If the instruction queue holds no instructions for the coprocessor, the coprocessor may be placed into a mode in which the coprocessor consumes less power. The monitoring circuit may detect an instruction for the coprocessor in the instruction queue. In response to the instruction for the coprocessor, the coprocessor may be placed into a mode in which the coprocessor may execute the instruction.

  • Publication number: 20150026443
Abstract: The description covers a system and method for operating a micro-processing system having a runahead mode of operation. In one implementation, the method includes providing, for a first portion of code, a runahead correlate. When the first portion of code is encountered by the micro-processing system, a determination is made as to whether the system is operating in the runahead mode. If so, the system branches to the runahead correlate, which is specifically configured to identify and resolve latency events likely to occur when the first portion of code is encountered outside of runahead. Branching out of the first portion of code may also be performed based on a determination that a register is poisoned.
