  • Patent number: 12259934
Abstract: Machine-learning-aided automatic taxonomy for web data. In an embodiment, a training dataset of annotated features is used to train a model to predict a class in a taxonomy of web-based activities. The features may be derived from a uniform resource locator (URL) of an online resource and associated metadata. During operation, the features may be extracted from the URL and metadata of each activity record in web data. The trained model may be applied to the extracted features for each activity record to predict a class within the taxonomy. The predicted taxonomic class may be stored in association with the URL that was extracted from the activity record to produce a taxonomized URL.

  • Patent number: 12260438
Abstract: An online concierge system requests an image of a receipt of an order from a picker after the picker fulfills the order at a store. The online concierge system performs image processing on the image of the receipt and uses machine learning and optical character recognition to determine a tax amount paid for the order and a confidence score associated with the tax amount. The online concierge system may use the machine learning model for segmenting extracted text in the image of the receipt into tokens. The online concierge system may then determine at least one token associated with a tax item and the tax amount associated with the tax item. The online concierge system communicates the tax amount to the store for reimbursement based on the tax amount and the confidence score.

  • Publication number: 20250094196
Abstract: Techniques for managing session lifecycles through custom scripts in a network environment are provided. In one technique, a container of a virtual machine receives a termination signal that is associated with a command to delete or deactivate a session of the container. In response and prior to terminating the session, the container identifies and executes a script that is associated with the command. After the script completes executing, the session is deleted or deactivated. In another technique, cloud system receives reference data that identifies a storage location of a script. A virtual machine is created in the cloud system. Based on the reference data, the script is downloaded from the storage location into storage that is local to the virtual machine. The script is executed and a session within a container of the virtual machine is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20250093936
Abstract: A system include multiple components configured to operate in different modes with different power supply loads. Control circuitry may determine a first voltage margin to be included in a power supply voltage magnitude requested for the components based on current operating modes of the multiple components and detect that a first component of the multiple components has changed its operating mode. In response to the detection, the control circuitry may modify at least one parameter of the following parameters to recover a portion of the first voltage margin: a power supply voltage magnitude and an operating frequency of at least a portion of the system. A magnitude of the modification may be based on an estimated difference between a first amount of dynamic power supply voltage loss before the change in operating mode and a second amount of dynamic power supply voltage loss after the change in operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20250095098
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to graphics processor that support ray tracing. In particular, shader circuitry may be configured to adjust a scheduling priority of a single-instruction multiple-data (SIMD) group of a shader program based on a hint that the SIMD group has an upcoming ray intersect command for ray intersect accelerator circuitry and based on a resource usage indication from the ray intersect accelerator circuitry. This may advantageously reduce cache thrashing, e.g., when shaders may allocate memory for ray intersect commands and fill a shared cache faster than the ray intersect accelerator circuitry can process the rays.

  • Publication number: 20250095345
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that implement two-stage three-dimensional (3D) object detection, which includes a distinct fusion of radar data and camera data. The radar data includes a four-dimensional (4D) millimeter-wave (MMW) radar point cloud, and the camera data includes a high-resolution image in the two-dimensional space (2D). Thereafter, a 3D ROI proposal is fused with 2D image data generating a 2D proposal projection. The 2D proposal projection comprises proposals that predict the position of objects in the high-resolution image. In some cases, proposals in the 2D proposal projection correspond to anchors in the 3D ROI proposal. Then, 2D object detection results are fused with the 3D ROI proposal to generate 3D object detection results. Two-stage 3D object detection allows vehicles to detect objects in a 3D space of the driving environment to navigate safely, avoid obstacles, and respond to dynamic changes in the surrounding environment while operating autonomously.

  • Publication number: 20250086109
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory machine readable media, and computing devices that manage storage operations directed to dual-port solid state disks (SSDs) coupled to multiple hosts are disclosed. With this technology, context metadata comprising a checksum is retrieved based on a first physical address mapped, in a cached zoned namespace (ZNS) mapping table, to a logical address. The logical address is extracted from a request to read a portion of a file. A determination is made when the checksum is valid based on a comparison to identification information extracted from the request and associated with the file portion. At least the first physical address is replaced in the cached ZNS mapping table with a second physical address retrieved from an on-disk ZNS mapping table, when the determination indicates the checksum is invalid. The file portion retrieved from a dual-port SSD using the second physical address is returned to service the request.
