  • Publication number: 20100293013
Abstract: Method and system for ordering, loading and using tickets ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data that includes a number assigned to a mobile communications terminal. The ordered ticket is received via a mobile radio network at the mobile communications terminal, and the ticket is stored. A reading device receives ticket information contactlessly from the mobile communications terminal, and an authorization of a user of the mobile communications terminal is decided based on the ticket information.

  • Patent number: 7750810
Abstract: A method system, and device for identification by an identification tag in which a request to a control module of the identification tag is transmitted from an interrogation device via a contactless interface of the identification tag, so that the control module accesses identification data stored in a memory module assigned to the identification tag. The identification data are transmitted via the contactless interface. Body-specific identification data of the wearer are captured and transmitted to a verification module by a measuring device assigned to the identification tag, or a sensor, and/or an analysis device. The transmitted body-specific identification data is compared with the identification data stored in the memory module by the verification module, to confirm the identity of the wearer. The identification tag is injected and/or implanted under the skin of the wearer. The identification tag can be in particular an RFID and/or NFC tag.

  • Patent number: 7751811
Abstract: A data acquisition system that comprises several mobile terminals, each comprising a broadcast receiver for receiving the broadcast signals that are unidirectionally transmitted from a broadcasting station via an air interface, and a mobile radio module for the communication via a mobile network. Furthermore, the mobile terminals each include means for providing data accountings; their contents depending on the broadcast signals received and, for example, on data relating to the signal quality of the received broadcast signals. The data acquisition system comprises a memory connected to the mobile network. The data accountings provided are transmitted from the mobile terminals by means of the mobile radio modules via the mobile network where they are stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 7734507
Abstract: A method is described for directing a user of a mobile device from a current location to a product, wherein an identification code of the product is recorded in the mobile device and transmitted to a name server. The identification code is used in the name server among others for loading product-related data into the mobile device, e.g. a geographical location where the product can be bought. Following this, the user of the mobile device can go to said geographic location. For directing said user to the product, a direct contactless connection is established between said mobile device and a RFID element with which said product is marked, by using the same identification code or product-related data previously supplied by the name server.

  • Patent number: 7711356
Abstract: A method and a system for automated call diversion of calls intended for a mobile radio device to a second network connection. A detection module of a customer premises equipment detects the mobile radio device as soon as it is located in the sphere of influence of an interface between the mobile radio device and the customer premises equipment, whereby identification data of the mobile radio device are transmitted via the interface. Based on the identification data of the mobile radio device, call diversion of calls intended for the mobile radio device to the second network device is activated as long as the mobile radio device is located in the sphere of influence of the interface between the mobile radio device and the customer premises equipment.

  • Publication number: 20090187933
Abstract: Proposed is a system (1) and a suitable method for distribution of picture objects which are stored with assigned picture object information in a picture object database (291). In a media center (2) of the system (1), user identification data are received which are transmitted to the media center (2) by communications terminals (4, 4?, 4?) via a communications network (3). In the media center (2) user interests profiles are defined which, assigned to the received user identification data, are stored in a user interests database (292). On the basis of the correlation of particular user interests profiles with picture object information, picture objects are selected and transmitted via the communications network (3) to the respective communications terminal (4, 4?, 4?) from which the received user identification data were transmitted.

  • Patent number: 7478069
Abstract: A method and a communications system are for billing of access-controlled programs and/or data, which are broadcast unidirectionally and encrypted from a broadcast transmitter and which are received by at least one receiving device. The programs and/or data broadcast encrypted are decrypted in the receiving device for access if received access conditions data for the access-controlled programs and/or data coincide with authorization data for the user. Clearing data from the central unit are thereby transmitted to a clearing module. The clearing data include billing data for the access to the unencrypted access-controlled programs and/or data as well as user data. The central unit makes available to the vendor information relating to the user data, in accordance with the received clearing data, which information is generated by the central unit according to specified conditions on further use.

  • Publication number: 20080261604
Abstract: In order to perform location-specific services of a broadcasting unit (3), virtual cells (22, 23, 24) for the location-specific services are set up so that cell data, which define a local cell area, are transmitted to a mobile receiving device (1) via the broadcasting unit (3). The cell data are stored in the mobile receiving device (1). The mobile receiving device (1) establishes its current position (25) and determines whether it is located in the cell area. In the event the mobile receiving device (1) is located in the cell area, the receiving device performs a service assigned to the cell data.

  • Patent number: 7428744
Abstract: Method, device and system for capturing and processing viewing data, which viewing data relates to the viewing behavior of users when viewing video data. Data about lines of sight of a user relative to the viewed video data are determined by projecting video data directly on the retina of the user and current eye positions of the user being thereby determined, which are transmitted by a telecommunications network to a central unit for further processing. In the further processing current eye positions are compared with predefined values, and predefined actions are triggered on the basis of the result of this comparison and/or the viewing data being stored in the central unit, and, for example later, being evaluated statistically.

  • Publication number: 20080125110
Abstract: The present invention concerns a system and method for assigning a number of terms (1.4, 1.5) and objects that are on at least two levels (1.1, 1.2) on a mobile device (3) of a user. Through this knowledge, the perception of the corresponding terms and objects is additionally promoted. Thanks to the system and method described here, terms (1.4, 1.5) from different valuation levels are presented to the user who has to assign them. These terms (1.4, 1.5) can only be assigned if the user has sufficient information about the terms (1.4, 1.5). The result of the assignment product (4) is thus a measure of the knowledge of the user in question. Companies and organization can use this system and method to determine their degree of awareness and, through suitable incentives for the users, massively increase their name recognition respectively that of their products and/or services by increasing the specific perception.

  • Patent number: 7366290
Abstract: A billing method and billing system to determine usage fees which are charged to the user of a digital telecommunications network, whereby a usage fee charged for a connection is determined prior to establishing this connection from statistical characteristics of previous connections of the user, is described. Usage fees are determined from a dynamic client profile, derived from one or multiple random variables of previous connections of the user, which is stored in memory and re-derived after each new customer connection. In a simple variant, the client profile contains a value proportional to the average price per connection or to the average duration of a connection of the user. The random variables used to derive the client profile include, for example, the connection duration, the time of day, the day of the week, and/or geographic characteristics of previous connections.
